EZ Quilting Dear Jane Book

What a lovely book!Not only packed full of designs and inspiration, There's an intriguing diologue throughout which adds '(for me)' another dimention to the developmental process of designing.I think it's great for the experienced quilter and good for a beginer like myself too. There's a website to go to for instructions on most aspects.I love it

A very lovely book detailing the sewing of a quilt in 1863. All the blocks are shown, and are easy to reproduce, the whole book a charming addition to any quilter's bookshelf.

I am impressed with the book, in that it also has other quilt designs based on Dear Jane blocks.I do wish that the book came with the CD that allows block enlargement.All I to do is START!

Hi this book was new in good condition, it was more dificult to understand than I expected and I beleive that you need the C D to to be able to make the blocks , as there is no real instructions in the book.

This item is such a lovely book. There is a lady's life recorded in this book, along with umpteen quilting designs. Bought this item as a 60th birthday present for a friend who is a 'quilter' and she was absolutely delighted with it. Would strongly recommend this item.

Die "Dear Jane"- bzw. "Baby-Jane"-Quilts sind DER klassische Sampler-Quilt für Patchwork-Begeisterte. Hier können sich fortgeschrittene Anfänger so richtig in den unterschiedlichen Techniken "austoben". Ich kennen keinen Sampler-Quilt, der in seinen Techniken sooo vielfältig ist. Zu jedem Block gibt es ein Farbfoto, in dem der genähte Block gezeigt wird, außerdem eine Schemazeichnung und der Name des Blocks mit seiner laufenden Nummer (z.B. "Paddle Wheels" "E-3"). Die Schemazeichnung kopiert man sich am besten, um den Block dann beispielsweise mit der "Foundation Piecing"-Methode zu nähen oder die Zeichnung als Grundlage für den Stoffzuschnitt zu verwenden. Wie man den einzelnen Block näht, ist im englischprachigen Buch leider nicht erklärt. Dafür gibt es im Internet zahlreiche Seiten, in denen dies erläutert wird.Übrigens: Der Name "Dear Jane" hat die Autorin sich markenrechtlich schützen lassen. Sie schlägt vor, dass die nachgenähten Janes als "Baby Jane" bezeichnet werden. Okay, darüber kann sich jede ihre eigene Meinung bilden, das ist hier beim "Jane" halt so. Viel Spaß beim Patchwork!

Un clasico del quilting, no puede faltar en una biblioteca de patch, estan los patrones pero no vienen las instrucciones de como hacer los bloques.

Un libro fantastico, per chi ama il Pachworks è l'ideale per impararlo a 360°. Ma poi come non amare il Dear Jane

ogni pagina ha uno schema a grandezza naturale, ovviamente chiunque può ingrandire o rimpicciolire lo schema. Appena ho un attimo ci farò uno scaldotto

If you like tiny little pieces project you will love it!!! But if you don't have patience to work with small pieces and I mean small pieces you will get frustrated.
