Looks great and fits perfectly. Exactly what I wanted. However there are some minor quirks to be aware of before purchase.1. The touchpads are perfectly flush with the case under a slight recess. This isn't an issue for me and I have full control and touch capacity, but it does merrit some notice.2. It gives the letter buttons a slightly recessed feel. For me this isnt an obstruction however I can see how it may affect some players.3. It makes the SD slot a bit difficult to access. This is kinda an obvious thing but worth mention.Aside from those three things I cant really make any negative notes. The pleather is soft but not too soft, the fit has no wiggle so there is no rattle from the case, and the port cutouts allow me to use my dock and the charging cable that comes with the steamdeck.Now, I do see other reviews calling this out. To note I am not using the official steam deck, I am using one by ivanki, and I am using the oled model. The latter has no affect on things since both models are the same design and size.The official dock though is a form fitting connector with that little piece on the wire side which will cause issue. Make of this detail what you will.Update 6/26 - So, its been about 8 months. Im still using this case, but there are a few things to point out. There are two weak points to this case. In hindsight, its pretty obvious but the snapping tabs that keep the case close are good at what they do. However, as with some brands of laptops, they do not take well to being opened. Often this means a broken tab. The second fault is the stand. I've added a photo regarding but to explain a bit more It isnt really built to be pushed back. Just the weight of the deck kinda forces it to stress a bit. If something somehow pushed it all the way to the top it would barely survive. Honestly, with a plastic case, there isnt exactly a means of fixing this without making both case and metal on stand thicker, which just would feel just too chunky.

Love the gradient colors, love the comfort, kind of a pain to get off but other than that, love it. Button cut outs are great, durable, great price.

After doing a skin which pretty much was trash, I decided to go with this hard case.In short, I love the case. It went on easy, it's kept my Steam Deck protected and clean. It's pretty. I got the pastel purple/green.Here the down side of it:I bought a battery pack for my steam deck that holds by magnetic mount on the back of the deck. I already was well aware it wouldn't fit with the case on. I don't plan to use the battery unless I know I'm out for a long point of time or no where near a plugin.Went to test this out and found it was hard to remove the case. Came here to look for advice on anyone reviews and of course I saw a few people had issues with the removal of this case. Even some reported damaging their steam deck to get it off.I carefully took a plastic scrapper and slowly went around. Well, one side now has a broken tab, the other side came off easy, no damage to the steam deck, thankfully.Overall, I like the case, however, I can only give three stars because this case shouldn't be hard to take off. Now I'm not even sure if the tab missing on the one side will cause an issue with putting the case back on and holding together.If it does, I'll sadly be returning it.Small Update: Case is holding together even with the one broken tab.

My one negative at that the kickstand isn’t as strong as I’d like it to be. But that’s not a reason to not buy this. The colors are great, it’s screen protector compatible, and snaps right to the body of the deck perfectly. I was only seeing bulky cases, stickers or replacement shells. But when I came across this I was happy to see it’s a legitimate case. And my deck still fits into the zip up carry case it came with. Definitely a good purchase!
