They serve their purpose.
My husband wears the heel on his shoes so quickly. We bought these to see if they would work and be easily attached. They are working well and since he put them on himself, he saved about $20.00 on just one pair. The savings are real.

Will Prolong your soles life, must have the glue
I go through running shoes soles ruining otherwise good shoes. I have tried shoe-goo and quick lock glues. These also will not last more than the regular soles but you can reapply as needed. This set is great because it comes with a good amount of glue. The nails are not usable on Snickers and may protrude and scratch your floor. I use a belt sander to clean before applying. Picture of my Snickers with the reinforcements after 20 miles.

the stay put
I walk a lot everyday 8000 + steps, my shoes sole gets worn pretty quick, So instead of buying new shoes for that reason this things are giving my shoes an extended life Yay

The kit is great BUT the glue is terrible.
I love the rasp and the heel tap tips BUT the glue lacks a lot to be desired. It might be OK to glue paper together, but I have not tried it. However, it doesn't work on shoes.

A nice DIY way to save the cost of having heel taps installed
This kit is really interesting. It contains everything you need to install your own heel taps to keep from wearing down the heels of your shoes and saves money. It comes with a rasp to roughen up the heels of the shoes and the heel taps you will be installing, 40 heel taps, glue to put them temporarily in place, and nails to attach them securely to the heels.I had planned to apply taps to my husband’s new dress shoes before he wore down the heels. Unfortunately I waited too long, but I still think they will work fine. The hardest part was finding something I could stick in the shoe and grip in a vise so that I had a surface to hammer against. I don’t just happen to have a shoemaker’s last laying around the house. LOL. I used a piece of large pvc electrical conduit. It worked OK, but I might try to rig up something a little better for next time. Or maybe just use a small piece of wood.I would have given the kit 5 stars except that the taps seem a bit flimsy compared to the ones I have gotten put on by the shoemaker in the past and I don’t know how long they will last. But for the price, I don’t care. I think these will work just fine.

Heel Repair Plates Set with Glue, Rasp Tool, and Nail.
Heel plates have reasonable size and shape (though I prefer bigger thickness).Rasp tool has non-traditional questionable low-cost design. The set comes without any instruction and no information about the glue.Plates instruction listed on Amazon is confusing and does not mention details of how and when plate supposed to be attached to the hill.
