Relatively easy to use. I did have trouble getting the string to not break. It seems like it's a good enough quality. I mostly wanted it for fixing rips in bags/clothes and it's really too bulky for that purpose. SInce it's so big it's hard to do anything unless you can move the fabric with a single hand. If there was like a suction cup or something so you could attach it to a table end that would be amazing.

Bought it to repair my horse blankets but would not open wide enough to put the fabric in.

At first, even taking into account the price - no reason to print the instruction manual on a tiny peace of paper if you don't provide a mignifying glass as a part of the set. But even Youtube not helpful in troubleshooting this trash equipment. I have plenty of sewing experiance using Zinger devices. But I was not able to use this hand machine at all. It doesn't work. At all. Return. Will use my hands only to cut pants - it will take less time than multiple attampts to accomodate this device to sewing tasks.

There is no tension to hold the plate down on the material, so as the needle threads, the plate won't stay down, so you have to hold the plate down with your left hand while pulling the material through using your fingers and using your right hand to push the power, it's not working well. Was hoping for better product, but what do you expect for $20. Also, the main picture shows grey thread, that is the color I needed, but no grey included. Saddening madness.

If I could give negative stars I would. This item is garbage, it might work if you were making a burlap sack with 3 other people to help you and you didn’t care if that sack didn’t hold together.

Why can’t I give it 0 stars? Don’t waste your time or the resources please trust me it doesn’t work.

Works for 3 seconds then it gets stuck. Can only be used for very thin fabric.
