Sandy Nelson takes me on a trip back to the 60's when life was so much simpler. Everytime I listen to the CD I find myself moving to the beat.

sandy nelson parlayed some great hits into an amazing legacy of drum work. he plays simple "rock-jazz fusion" style of drums in the 60's era mode, but his work holds up to this day. it AMAZES me how many "superstar" drummers never heard of him, along with gene krupa who regardless of him knowing it or not, invented rock drumming of the 60's and 70's wayyyyy back in the 40's. this cd really capsules this great drummer's legacy, who still plays on a semi regular basis. wish he'd come near me, i'd pay to see him shake his hand, and yeah collect an autograph if I was lucky!oh- btw- he was an awesome session drummer too playing on MANY l a sessions!

Die CD ist ein guter Beweis für das Können dieses exzellenten Musikers.Für mich die "Auto" CD !!! Wenn ich allein unterwegs bin, störe ich keinen Mitfahrer und Nachbarn.Nicht jeder mag Schlagzeug "am laufenden Band". Mir gefällt es. Super
