Perfecting the poached egg
Overall I'm satisfied with these cups; although, they do stick a little, even if you oil them beforehand.I've been working on how to consistently produce the perfect poached egg. What I've been doing is bringing a sauce pan with, at least, 2-inches of water to boil. I then reduce the heat to medium and wait for the boiling to subside. Then I put the oiled cups in the water, break an egg into each, cover with a lid and let it sit for 6-1/2 minutes without lifting the lid. When time is up, I remove the cups with a slotted spoon, use the slotted spoon to gently coax the egg out of the cup, dab the spoon on a papertowel (to get any last remaining water) and then flip the egg over onto my toast or whatever I'm serving the egg on. Granted, these may be a little more done than some like - raw egg white grosses me out; so, I like mine with the white all cooked and the yolk a little runny. The variables seem to be the amount of water in the pan and the amount of time left in the water. You want enough water so that it doesn't cool down too much when you break the eggs into the cups - but you also want room above the water to produce enough steam to cook the tops of the eggs. The temperature of the eggs is probably also a factor - do you use them right out of the fridge? Or do you bring them to room temperature first? I usually do the former because I'm too impatient. I think it's probably more important to be consistant.Bottom line, you need to experiment with your pan and stove to figure out how to consistently cook the perfect poached egg

The perfect poached egg.
I bought these as a gift for my mother. I very seldom leave a review but these are worth reviewing! This set was not sent with instructions but after doing some research, we learned how to use them. My mom LOVES poached eggs and typically uses the metal egg poachers but every type we have been hard to clean and eventually unusable. These little poachers are awesome!Instructions: You don't have to spray these, but I suggest that you do or you will have some egg left in the poacher. You will need a sauce pan with a lid with a little bit of water (an inch or so). Put in the poachers and egg with seasoning. Bring the water to a SIMMER or else your eggs will have water in them. Cover and cook until desired doneness. I use a fork and press the top until it doesn't "jiggle" anymore. The poachers do not get hot so you can just lift them out of the pan. Flip them inside out to remove your egg and tada!

Unamazed
Pros: Dishwasher safe, no detectable plastic taste to eggsCons: Sticking even when oil is rubbed around the insideEgg shape wasn't as perfect as anticipated, though that's not that big of a problem. They do the job, but if I'm using oil anyway I will just cook my eggs using another method. It just sticks too much for me to take the extra time to use these.

Tricked, not buying what I thought I was.
I heard great things about poachpods so I bought this set of four. The eggs stuck to the pod and came out smelly. I contacted Fusionbrands and the first thing they asked me was if I had authentic Fusionbrands Poachpods. They told me because of the success of the product there are many knock-offs and the way to be assured I had genuine poachpods was to look for the Fusionbrands name and logo on the bottom. These certainly look like the original, however these did NOT have the Fusionbrands name and came with no set of instructions as real ones do. Thankfully, Fusionbrands appreciated my comments and WILL be taking action to protect consumers.

Green poach cups
Product was sent on time. I am very displeased with the quality. When compared to the brand "Poachpods"' there is a large difference in quality. If I didn't have to pay for shipping, they would have gone back immediately.

Make perfect poached eggs now
Would give 5 stars but had to look up on you tube how to use them as the directions were non existent. Once we figured out that we needed to cover the pot and use less water we now have perfect eggs every time.

Poach Pods
I have used these pods a few times and after adjusting how long to leave them in the water, have had success. I would recommend these, but just be aware, depending on your preferences, you'll probably need to experiment a bit.

Cheap product--not the REAL PoachPod
From the picture the product looked like Fusionbrands PoachPod, they even have similar features highlighted, however when the product arrived they completely stick together, have a plasticky smell and do not include any instructions. Not impressed and upset these are allowed to be sold--seems to be infringing on the Originator of PoachPods.
