Really works and smells good
Worked really well on my teen daughter. She has straight hair down to the middle of her back and I was able to use the bottle two times on her. The gel smells really good and the comb dispenser made it easy to get the gel all over her hair. My daughter is now completely lice free. What I did was this, I covered my daughter’s hair and scalp with the gel (half of the bottle was enough) and left it on for 30 minutes. As I rinsed it off I used the comb, and once her hair was dry I parted her hair in 9 sections and pulled out all the nits ( this process took me about 3 days since I had just had surgery) . Once all the nits were out I reapplied the remaining gel and left it on for about 30 minutes. It’s been 2 months and she is still live free.

This stuff is great!!!!!!!
Let me just say that this stuff is amazing!!!! I've used so many products to try and clean out my 7 year old and nothing did it like this! The instructions are so easy and the comb worked wonders. I was able to remove all life and nits. I just loved it and will be keeping an extra just incase i run into this issue again.

Stop Looking
Hey there! I just want that when I first learned my daughter had lice due to a school infestation, I paniced. Read and searched for the right product. This arrived next day. This product is very very very good I cannot say it enough. The smell isn’t intolerable, nor bad, it’s thick and oily and stays in the hair. I was able to flyer rid of all lice easily. Took time due to amount of hair my daughter has but it was very easy. After a while during the first comb the ones I found were dead. It comes with enough for the first time plus the folllow up treatment at 9 or 10 day mark. I have little amount of hair, thin and thinning and I also used it same bottle worked great just as a prevention you never know. I recommend it’s my favorite I already sadly had to use it again since lice returned at school. It works great. Only thing is that my daughter did complain of headache on day two it passed. Price is very affordable comparing that a hair salon will charge you $200. So you buy this and do the heavy lifting smiling knowing you saved your send headache or overspending in the salon.

Great Product
Daughter came home with lice from visiting with her mom. I combed over 75 lice out of her hair. I treated with CURE and haven't seen any more.

Easy self treatment for thick hair
This product made lice treatment feel like a spa day compared to past experiences. Besides the paranoia of having bugs living in my family's hair, a lot of my anxiety came from treating lice 7 years ago. It was so difficult because I have thick, long colored hair, so I rough chopped my hair just to get through the trauma. I was prepared to do that again, but this gel made combing so, so smooth. By comparison, I used a 2 step permethrin treatment from Walgreens, about the same price as "Cure" on my daughter since this didn't arrive in time. She has thin hair, it was more sticky to apply, and it still would catch and cause her discomfort (the bent handle comb was easier to use however). Some of the lice were still moving, so I'm not sure if they were resistant since permethrin is a pesticide. It also dried out after an hour to hour and a half and I had to wet it to comb a second time. The following day when I gained enough courage, I used this product on my own head. The comb applicator made it so easy to coat all of my hair. It didn't sting or smell strong to me, and stayed slick for almost 2 hours of combing. I went through twice, only finding a few nits, but was glad it was so smooth to comb through. My face feels some sensitivity after showering it out, as though I was in the sun too long; some of my hair fell on my face as I was working through. As far as the effectiveness of this Dimethicone based gel over permethrin, I can't say. But given that this was the same price as the "budget" store brand, I'd highly recommend this system.

You may as well shave your head…
I have had head lice a few times in my life; the first time was so horrible that I had to shave off what was very nice shoulder length hair (being a guy; it’s like shearing a lion’s mane.) I found out that most treatments have the same ingredients & at identical strengths; so I decided to try this really expensive stuff. While most reviews say that this stuff is really greasy; I remember it being very much the opposite. I don’t know if there was a reaction with the baby shampoo that I used before hand (it seriously helps to wash your hair first & use a flat iron or curling iron before you treat your hair) - THIS STUFF WAS LIKE GLUE! All my hair knotted very badly & I wound up unable to get the wide tooth comb through my hair at all (at the time; I had a lot of fine, shoulder length hair). I thought about letting it sit as is directed- but it continued getting worse until I had to quickly wash my hair & use a pick to try to untangle it; which still caused so much breakage that I may as well have just cut off my hair again & let it grow back… I was so angry & stressed that I didn’t bother with the guarantee or anything. I would suggest avoiding the more expensive products (unless they are larger qty for more people). Surprisingly, I’ve found the cheaper options to be more effective- particularly- “Lice Free Spray”- available on Amazon & several other retailers. Some other suggestions- develop the habit of wearing nitrile gloves; you’d be surprised at how quickly you can re-infest simply by doing the laundry… Invest in vacuum storage bags; enough that you can have some for dirty laundry. When you/your kids disrobe- put the clothes in a bag & suck out all the air. The thicker bags (so far Meldevo have been great) are better for frequent re-use. Also, if you put the clean laundry in vacuum storage; it stays fresh (& lice free) until you use it. Lice survive on blood; but they can still be suffocated in a few hours- they usually die within 72hrs w/o feeding. The vacuum bags both suffocate & starve these parasites. Though it’s not recommended; it’s still possible to wash baseball caps. If you wear a hat; you’re much less likely to have transfer to furniture, people, etc. I realize that you can’t wash the hat too much before it gets to be unwearable- I have 2 hats that are alternated daily, both are washed once a week. The hat I’m not wearing goes in a vac bag for at least 24hrs. The chemical spray for flea treatment, etc. works for lice too (most of the time). Remember to spray insulated boots, tennis shoes, etc. I first discovered that I had lice after pulling my hair back & then tying my shoes. I can’t say that I have ever heard of it causing a re-infestation; but my 1st episode lasted 3 months & may have caused a nervous breakdown; better safe than sorry…

Had been told about this word of mouth. Was easy to use did not drip & did what it was meant to do. Had plenty left after treatment on long hair to repeat as advised. Not the cheapest but worth the money.

I have tried a number of nit treatments and spent a lot of money but nothing seemed to work. I bought this hoping it would work but wasn't too hopeful. But it worked unbelievably well for both of my daughters. We are doing our second treatment tomorrow but honestly they have not scratched or complained about their head being itchy once since doing the first treatment. I'm absolutely delighted, it has been such a persistent problem for us. I have had to buy 3 packs as I was treating both my daughter and they both have very thick hair. So one bottle isn't enough for the two treatments required. But I'm happy to buy extra knowing it works so well. And if they ever end up getting nits again I will buy this straight away!

Amazing, not too oily, washes out well, smells AMAZING, easy to apply, nit comb brilliant quality. Cant fault it. After trying countless awful nit treatments I have found a favourite. My 9 year old daughter loved the smell of it and it didnt leave her a greasy mess

Brilliant for getting rid of those pesky buggies and their eggs. Smells lovely too. Easy to apply with the applicator, there was enough to do my granddaughter hair 6x application s, her hair is long too, down to her waist. My only grumble is that they don't have "refil" product. You have to buy the full package
