My son used to play with this for hours!

Such a great board to entertain my baby and keep him learning.

So technically this is hit or miss with my daughter. I'll talk about that later.This busy board, to me, seems like pretty high quality. And that pleases me. Each item is secured NICELY to the board. The board has a nice weight to it. And all the little widgets on it seem like pretty high quality. Honestly I can't say enough about the high quality feel of this board.If I had one complaint about it would be the shoelace thing. But only because that seems WAY MORE AGE ADVANCED than is comparable to the other widgets. Also I don't think it's helpful in teaching shoelace tying given the flat shape of it. You'd be better off with a sneaker. ASIDE from that, I suppose it's actually quite fine/pleasant to just puts with but the other widgets are just better.ANYWAY so in terms of engagement, my daughter LOVED this for the first few minutes (She's 13 months when I first gave it to her) and now she doesn't care about it. But that's just a lie really: She just wants to do wherever we are doing. so if I start to play with it then she'll co-play with me almost INSTANTLY with it for basically as long as I am. maybe 30 minute max at a time. And then that's really cool because we can then bond and show each other different ways of playing with these things differently and whatnot. So it's all cool. I recommend it. We got the limit edition of this busy board. For this edition the colors are not bright, they are brown and yellow. The busy board got our baby's attention immediately, specially the bell, the fidget spinner and the shoelace. She played a while with it.The board is really sturdy and the item is made with wood and plastic. The bell is noisy and funny. The only item that is a bit hard to use is the crew as it is made with plastic so it takes a while to unscrew. It has a pretty great size and we can move it from the baby room to the living room pretty easily.The item is a bit pricey comparing with other similar items and the only difference with the regular edition is the color but if you are looking for a busy board this is a good option.

I live with my parents, who are in their mid80s. My mom has dementia, in Stage 5. She has already lost her ability to read and doesn't move about well either. We wanted something to help occupy her mind and entertain her. I have read a lot about fidget quilts and fidget boards, which include a variety of hand and mind coordination tasks to help engage the dementia patient's mind and slow deterioration. This Busy Board has a lot of the same features as a fidget board - a zipper, a slide lock, a laced "shoe", and other tasks. I bought this for her use, and she has enjoyed it. My 3-year-old great nephew visits sometimes too, and he will be able to play with it when he's here. I'm impressed by the quality of this board, which is very sturdy and the perfect size, and the variety of tasks in one place. I recommend it for both toddlers and dementia patients.

When I ordered this, I thought it would be appropriate for my currently 7 month old grandson for Christmas (he will be 9 months by then). I thought it was rated for 1 year old and up. When I received it, it says 3+ on the label. My grandson will have to grow more, and by then I will have long forgotten this review. Just by it for slightly older kids and you should be fine.

This is a very well made board with a variety of different items to keep my little one busy. There's a bell that sounds off, a screw, a fidget spinner and more. Everything is attached well and is durable, sturdy, and good quality. Keeps my toddler engaged while improving his fine motor skills!

My 5 year old grandson loves this as we are using the clock hands to show him time and the shoelaces are nice for him to learn to tie his shoes. My 1 year old granddaughter absolutely loves the bell and the spinner.There is no assembly required and it is very sturdy and no sharp edges they can get hurt on.This product seems like it should last for a long time and it would make a perfect gift for someone who has young children.Love it!
