Unreliable VA Converter! :(
I recently had a disappointing experience with a 110-240V/240-110V voltage converter. After just a few days of use, the device stopped working entirely. While it initially performed well—running smoothly and quietly—it suddenly lost power and wouldn’t turn back on. Additionally, the converter is quite bulky and heavy, which made it less convenient to use. Overall, I expected better durability and reliability from this product.

Game-Changer for International Appliances
This VEVOR transformer is exactly what I needed for my international appliances. The 2000W capacity easily handles my European kitchen equipment, while the multiple outlet options (both US and EU) plus the USB port let me power several devices simultaneously. Setup was incredibly straightforward - just plug in and select your voltage. After weeks of heavy use, it runs quietly with minimal heat buildup, and the LED display provides clear status information. Perfect for anyone living between voltage standards or using imported electronics!

Great product and even better customer support
This transformer has some great features that I have not seen on any other product: 1. Just like in your home, sockets only fit one kind of plug making it is impossible to accidentally plug in a 120 V appliance into a 220 V socket 2. Voltage meters for incoming and converted voltage are quite a nice addition, even if technically they don't add any functionality. 3. USB out is a nice touch I use this with small appliances imported from Japan. Daily with a rice cooker and occasionally with other devices like a mochi maker or a waffle maker. It is plugged in all the time, but because it draws about 5 W even with nothing attached to it, I connect it though a Meros smart socket that can be turned on and off with a button, remotely via app, or with a schedule. To avoid inrush current tripping the circuit breaker, I also use an inrush current limiter. This combination is great for use with a rice cooker, because we cook rice almost always using a time preset (a schedule). Rice is rinsed and put in the cooker, time for when it needs to be cooked is set, and then I simply turn off the Meros smart plug. An hour and 20 min before rice ready time, the Meros is scheduled to turn the outlet back on and soon after that rice cooker schedule initiates cooking. Plug is later once again turned off either manually by the person using the rice or on a schedule about an hour after rice is done cooking. Rice cooker keeps scheduled time in memory even when turned off and then uses that setting once power returns. Inrush current limiter ensures there are no unpleasant surprises like a popped breaker and uncooked rice. The cook program has been running this way for several months without fail. When I first got got the transformer, it worked great, but circuit breaker would pop once in a while. This is actually normal and expected, and can be fixed by swapping the circuit breaker for a different type. But as i am not an electrician and don't want to be replacing breakers myself, it was easier to add the inrush current limiter (I use a made in Germany device also from Amazon). This completely solved the problem. Another issue was that the meters were showing wrong voltage. I contacted support and after some back and forth, they actually reached out to technical expert and provided instructions on how to calibrate the meters. Once I did that, the device works like a dream and actual voltage of input and output is correctly displayed (photos show before and after as well as location of the calibration screw on the back of the meter) Because I had to open the cover to calibrate the meters, I had a chance to see how this device is made. I have to say the build quality of this thing is outstanding and the toroidal core looks rock solid. I am very VERY satisfied with this product as well as with customer support and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to use 110-120 V small appliances in Europe. I only wish this product were a little smaller. The actual coil takes up only about half of the box. But I realise it would be tricky with all the plugs and meters on the front to actually make it any smaller while keeping all these features. Finally, it would be great if an inrush current limiter were built in.
