Review: Its great - I bought this mat for my daughter to practice her gymnastics skills at home, and it has been a total game-changer. Why we love it: Awesome Visual Guides: Having the hands and feet outlined on the cartwheel side is incredibly helpful. It actually shows guides for both left- and right-handed cartwheels, which helped her figure out her dominant side much faster. Dual Purpose: When she wants to practice balancing, we just flip it over to the beam side. The printed 4-inch line is the exact width of a regulation balance beam, so she gets to practice her straight-line tumbling and jumps safely on the floor. Easy to Clean & Store: The 18-oz vinyl cover is thick, durable, and super easy to wipe down. It folds in half perfectly and has handles, so she can actually clean it up and put it away in her closet by herself. A quick tip: When you first unbox it, it might have a slight 'new plastic' smell, but it completely airs out after a day or two. If you have a budding gymnast at home, this is the perfect starter mat!
Review: It’s still going! - Soo I bought this for my daughter. She uses it to this day. You cannot see the floor in her room because of all the toys, but her mat is clear. She practice s on it constantly. I’m glad I purchased it for her. It has taken a beating:) I even walk on it and it still bounces back. Great gift for any aspiring gymnast:)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HOURS OF USE ALREADY BY MY KIDS---THEY LOVE THIS MAT----WOULD BUY AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT
*by E***N on January 31, 2015*

Wish it was a little thicker but we LOVE this--it was worth the money. The guiding hands/feet helped my 6 year old get the concept of a cartwheel better---the flip side mimics a balance beam and basically serves as a visual reminder to try to stay along the line for my older daughter who can do cartwheels with a roundoff and little jump at the end {I forget what she calls it} anyways, my kids have used this for HOURS to practice for their Acrobatics class. If you need serious hard-core for a gymnastics enthusiasts, then perhaps might want to get one that is wider and thicker. Other posters mention a smell--and a sticky residue? There was a slight smell of factory-plastic smell but it wasn't horrible and dissipated within a day---I just put it outside for a bit and aired it out--There was no stickiness to it and overall I would buy this mat again and I do recommend it to other moms who's children want to practice on a softer than the floor or ground---but a serious gymnast would need something more heavy duty. this fits nicely under my kids twin bed by the way and does stand horizontally along a wall if you choose to store it that way.
