I've been using stick with screws at each end that I made out of mold-able plastic. The weight and balance were good and it spun pretty well. It was a bit on the thin side. I've also modified pens to elongate them and add weight to them using this same mold-able plastic. Again, the weight was good and so was the balance.However, it felt like I hit a wall in my pen spinning progression. I decided to try buying a actual pen spinning pen and I opted for this buster cyl mod.Almost within a day, using this mod, I was doing a mini combo that I've been struggling with for the past week. It wasn't smooth, but at least I could hit all the steps. After another day, I was able to do it smoothly. It's amazing what a difference having an actual mod makes. If you're new to pen spinning, I suggest buying this mod (if you don't already have a mod). It will help you hit your milestones more frequently, making pen spinning more fun.

Weight feels amazing, can go back to RSVP MOD OR BICtory mod cause they feel to light wight now. Crayola branding will fade you can remove it using alchohol if you wanted to know. Grip will get dusty but you can clean it with alchohol.

I am just getting into pen spinning and this pen mod has been a huge improvement over using a stock pen and my DIY pen mod. The weight and balance are great. This actually made pen spinning more fun for me.
