These bamboo skewers are spot on. I bought them mainly for barbecues and they’ve been brilliant, strong enough to hold meat and veg without snapping or burning through too quickly. At 30cm they’re a good length, giving plenty of space for a decent portion on each skewer.I’ve also used a few of them for my model car projects. They were thick enough to hold my alligator clips while painting small parts, and they work perfectly for that too. For the price and the amount you get in a pack you really can’t fault them. I've only ever used these for grilling chicken shawarma under an oven grill, and they've been just the job.They're flat on one side and curved on the other so excellent for being able to turn your meat or veg to get both sides cooked. Nothing more frustrating than turning a skewer only to find it turns around inside whatever you're cooking and doesn't easily let you turn the meat over.Remarkably solid, especially for the price (*) and a soak in hot, soapy water cleans them up a treat.(*) Came here to post this and at the time of writing they are only £1.87 for 4, about half what I paid for them, so a terrific bargain.

Use them for checking the soil of my plants, they work great and I know when to water to prevent root rot

I bought these for making chicken and veggie skewers, and I’m really happy with the quality. All the skewers were uniform in size, with no bent, broken, or extra thin ones mixed in — which is a big improvement compared to other brands I’ve tried.On top of that, I also use these as stems for my pipe cleaner flowers when I’m crafting, and they work brilliantly for that too. Strong, straight, and way more affordable than buying craft-specific sticks.Double Duty Winner: Great for BBQ and perfect for craft projects!

Bought these at least a year ago I think and still use them fairly often with no issues, they’re easy to use and of a good quality metal. Can be a bit difficult to get some things on as they’re not the sharpest.

Can’t complain. They did the job and were a decent quality.

Es gibt Dinge im Leben, über die man eigentlich nie nachdenkt.Zahnbürsten, Müllsäcke… oder Holzspieße.Und dann kommt plötzlich so ein Bündel Bambusstäbe ins Haus, das dein Grillleben verändert.Die Dinger sind länger als mancher Geduldsfaden beim Grillen mit Freunden, nämlich ganze 30,5 cm.Und stabil wie ein Familienvater, der am Sonntag mit der Zange in der Hand über dem Kugelgrill thront. 🔥Beim ersten Einsatz war ich ehrlich gesagt skeptisch.Schließlich hatte ich schon das Vergnügen mit Splitter-Attrappen, die eher an Zahnstocher in XXL erinnerten.Doch diese hier?Völlig glatt, fast schon zärtlich in der Handhabung.Da gleitet das Fleisch drauf, als hätte es sein Zuhause gefunden.Zucchini rechts, Paprika links, und nichts dreht sich durch wie der letzte Gast vorm Buffet. 🍢Danach kein schlechtes Gewissen, weil Bambus wächst schnell, ist nachhaltig und macht dabei noch eine gute Figur. 🌿Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen bleibt, nach dem Grillen sehen sie aus, als hätten sie den Weltuntergang überlebt.Wiederverwenden? Decent quantity & quality for the price.I bought these before finding some strong, no rust, metal skewers, also as a back up if needing more kebabs.Just wet them before skewering the bbq food to them.They are slender, not the strongest skewers, but, I did not expect them to be, but, fine for bbq chicken kebabs.Quite useful for picking out stuck bits from my vacuum cleaner pipe & floor drains too!
