Brake Bleed Kit for Shimano Hydraulic Disc Brakes Including Genuine Shimano Mineral Oil

I found it simple to use and by and large the instructions were easy to follow. One tip, before you start make sure you have a 7mm spanner to loosen the bleed nipple (if that's the size which fits yours). I didn't have one and needed to go to Halfords beforehand. Not a criticism of the product and my brakes are now functioning well.

Found a quick way to improve the brakes without a full bleed. Fill the threaded syringe half full of oil, screw onto the fill port and draw back the plunger sucking the air out of the lines. After a few bubble come out, push the plunger in again to top up the voids. repeat.

For somebody who had never had anything to do with hydraulic cycle brakes before and was a little nervous about tampering with them, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow and the photographs were a great help. The kit contained everything I would need and there is enough fluid to bleed both brakes if necessary.

I found this very difficult to use. Although the instructions were clear, attaching the tube to bleed the brakes was a real pain.

Worked fine on my current model Shimano brakes. Slight annoyance at the design of header syringe vs Shimano as had to draw off excess rather than seal but worked ok.
