## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you get this stuff to mix? Foams in blender, congeals if heated and clumps if stirred. After scooping out the clumps/foam there's not much left**
A: There is a simple way to mix it by hand, using a small wire whisk - no blender is needed, no shaker jar is needed and clean-up is fast. Here is the trick - initially, put only a little water or other liquid in a cup, glass or jar etc - no more than about two tablespoons of liquid should be used at first, per scoop of powder. Use a small wire whisk to first mix by hand a scoop of powder into a paste like consistency with minimal liquid. Foaming, clumping and stickiness will be then be minimal. Problems can occur if you start off with more liquid than is needed to make a paste. After making a well-mixed paste, you can mix in an additional 8 fluid ounces of liquid to drink it as it is. If you want to blend it with other ingredients, you can now easily pour it in the blender.

**Q: Has anyone tried the vanilla version? I'm getting tired of chocolate and love vanilla...but it surprisingly gets bad reviews? Is it really so bad?**
A: I think the vanilla is amazing - far and above the best protein powder I have ever tasted, and my kids love it too. I like to throw in a bit of frozen banana and an avocado to make it creamier (easy to make it "pudding-like" if desired) and even a couple of strawberries. I have no clue why the reviews for this flavor would be bad because I think it's delicious!

**Q: Why is there caramel flavoring?! I have this at home and caramel flavoring is not listed as an ingredient. So disappointed**
A: I don't see caramel flavoring listed, only "natural flavors". It does contain cocoa powder.

**Q: Should I buy this or iso 100 to get lean**
A: I don't know if I can answer that, but the Iso protein brand gives me a stomach ache. This is much easier to digest.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice clean protein without whey
*by A***R on 27 May 2026*

Because it’s flavorless it’s not the best tasting but great when mixing in fruit or natural sugars. Great on the tummy!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product
*by R***O on 13 August 2026*

This is my staple protein powder. I can add anything to it since it’s flavorless. One of the more expensive ones but worth it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent texture, no tummy upset and you can arrive at a neutral taste with some tweaks.
*by D***L on 26 March 2026*

First time i opened and dipped my finger in to taste, i literally said "oh no". It was not neutral on it's own. Then i tried it in a smoothie, a combo of a scoop of this, a scoop of pure egg white powder, a banana and raspberries bluberries. It was very slightly offputting but had some clumps. I decided to try the vitamix instead of the bullet. The second bite, much better, and the third bite I didn't taste a thing. At first I sensed a "burnt" flavor, that went away. But I am sensitive to all collagen supplements and bone type supplements and usually fail at covering them up and end up choking them down. I might be a bit paranoid and that's why the first experiences I have to push through and see if i can come out on the other side of it. I think you adapt to this powder and if you keep modifying recipes, you will achieve full coverage and reap the benefits. I decided to make another smoothie today and I loved it! Same ingredients, same person, same mixer....it was just fine. It was actually delicious and I wanted more. I guess I've gotten over my hump. No Clumpiness if you use the right blender, the smoothie blender wasn't sufficient. It was creamy and a great texture after the vitamix. My second smoothie was delicious and prepared exactly as the first, I can only say you adapt or you don't start out paranoid like me. It's kind of like when you taste a dessert and the first bite is way too sweet but then it gets less sweet as you eat it. Now I'm craving my smoothie for tomorrow. Zero tummy upset which is why i sought out this product. I think this would be great added to soups and beans and broths and will also use it in this way. Flavorless...no...but you can obtain a delicious meal if you make simple tweaks to your recipes. Yesterday, i may have been on the fence, today I'm adding it to my subscription.
