This tool, hands down, is the easiest, quickest,and safest way to open fresh coconuts!!! We have coconuts growing in our property, and this tool makes it a cinch to enjoy! After allowing them to cool overnight in the fridge, use the tool to remove the top stem, easily insert the tool, make a loop, and remove the white husk. Insert a straw into the hole and drink to your heart's content. Feel free to add your favorite spirit to enhance the experience (we personally add coconut rum from the islands). Once your finished drinking, feel free to use a traditional machete to open the coconut. Make sure you are in a clear area, place the coconut on a hard surface, then slice one side of the coconut. Remove the machete, turn the coconut over, then slice again. Pick up the coconut and pull it apart. Have a spoon handy to scrape out any remaining coconut flesh. This tool is so amazing that I recently purchased one for a friend who was raised on a farm using traditional cutting tools to open this fruit. My husband opens coconuts with a machete, and any day now, I expected the scream and flying finger and blood, so I had to find an alternative. I saw this and it sat on my wish list for a while because I really didn't think something so small and simple could possibly work. So I was ordering some other stuff, and I decided to try it. Incredibly, it works! Yes, the coconut has to be green and tender, but we take them off our trees and use them right away, but if not, the husk opening will be too hard to pierce with the pointed end. He's been using it for about 4 weeks (4-5 coconuts per week), and it's still intact. I even ordered a 2nd one for a friend who also enjoys coconuts and the machete.

very nice and simple tool, very useful if you get fresh coconuts. We have a few coconut trees , it is very useful tool to get the fresh coconut water.

Nope, not good to open coconuts after a few days ....only if the coconut was recently picked.....after that it doesn't work

I was really surprised how easy it is to open young coconuts with this tool. The opener seems to be fairly high quality and durable. I suspect it might be more difficult to open ripe coconuts with toughened shells, but the young coconuts could be opened with minimal effort

Nice concept but this reviewer found it ineffective. Upon receipt, looked like the tool would do the job, just like the video showed. Reality is you better have a palm of stone to punch this puppy thru not only the outside husk, but also thru the inner coconut shell itself. On the second coconut we tried, the tip of this tool bent. Disappointing to say the least. Want just the coconut water? Grab a 1/4" drill bit and drill a hole thru the bottom and another one on the side at the opposite end. The water with flow freely. Want the meat of the coconut? Grab a sledge hammer and have at it!!!

Well this is Not as expected 🙄 Used not even a month and Device broke in half 🙄 Quite disappointing 🙄 as Now I have none !

Buenísimo, puedes sacar el agua del coco con mucha facilidad, siempre y cuando sean cocos tiernos para que el producto pueda "pinchar" por dentro con facilidad. Excelente le doy 5 estrellas.
