Very useful when going away for a break

Bought for a friend who loves this , easy to use and she says the coffee is lovely , very sturdy and looks good , good value for the price.

Lightweight and very useful. Mine broke after a year but it worked well without leakage for a while. Good temperature retention as well.

Got this to replace a RainBean cafetiere which was excellent until the glass chipped and decided to return to Bodum having had them before. This is a cheaper version, having a plastic case, thoguh not very cheap in price. Very disappointing. The glass is glued into the plastic container and can't be removed for washing. We only had this for around 6 months and noticed the glass spout had a chip out of it despite treating it with great care when washing. It was still usable but within a week or two a larger piece to the side of the spout had come off without it being knocked on anything. Too damaged to risk bits breaking off in a drink si we have replaced this with another brand providing a removable glass and metal outer.

I used it twice and the plastic stem guide broke! Was disappointed. Unfortunately they only offer a refund and return! rather than a replacement.

What can we say here, it works exactly as it should. The screening is nice and snug, and the carafe is a great size for someone who likes a few mugfuls or a couple enjoying a morning cuppa together.I use mine for steeping loose leaf teas and no matter what I put in it, it strains perfectly.One thing I love about this particular press over the less expensive choices is the fact that the screen housing drops in without having to fenagle it past the handle clip at the top of the carafe like on other models. So silly, but since it is just a great French Press and they are a fairly standard item, I was wondering what I could say that would help you make the decision to purchase this. So there you have it, so great I really had to reach for something to highlight it out.
