Long lasting 16 Ounce Jar (453 Grams). Made primarily of citric acid mono-hydrate which exists in all plants, especially in lemons and limes. Removes any stubborn residue and scale remaining in the boiling tank. Instructions: Fill 1 gallon stainless steel boiling chamber with water to fill line as normal and add 1 1/2 tablespoons Cleaning Crystals. (For 2 gallon Durastill or other brand boiler, use 3 tablespoons.) LEAVE TOP OFF and turn unit on until water just begins boiling. Turn unit off and wait 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on amount of water scale. Discard water and rinse interior well. (If used in a plastic boiling chamber, do not turn unit on to heat.) Does anyone know the other ingredients?** A: Product purchased Sept 2021 lists active ingredients - Citric Acid Anhydrous 100% **Q: can this be used for Model 200?** A: Yea, it will clean any water distiller **Q: How often do you need to descale unit?** A: I make 2 batches every day and it needs to be descaled about once every 3-4 weeks. Your water source will also determine how often to descale. I have a very hard water source. Another tip, put it on a timer so it cycle off before it boils dry. This will make it last longer before it needs to be descaled. I set my for 5 hours and it leaves about an inch of water in the bottom which results in less scale attaching to the surface of the container making it much easier to clean. **Q: I live in az. my last bottle is so hard i cannot separate the crystals to clean. does this jar stay dry crystals? or will it clump together.** A: My jar of crystals and never hardened.
