My 6-month-old puppy, which I'm raising on my own, was not happy being left alone in the daytime. She would go crazy. I could leave her with a chew or a kong but that would last at most 10 minutes. I needed to leave her alone for an hour or two at a time. This is a great device that allows me to leave her alone with confidence. The treat firing ability works really well with the 0.5cm treats I use. It will fire anywhere from 1-5 treats at once, which as long as I don't fire them out too regularly is okay. I aim the treats to be fired on her bed, so when they fire she has a snuffle around for a few mins to find them. I have used this treat firing to create a positive association for her to be left alone. Now if I leave the room, she instantly goes and looks at the camera waiting for a treat. She basically stares at the camera most of the time I'm out. It is her God. She still doesn't love being left alone (as you would not expect a young puppy to), but at least she is quiet and calm. The camera is good quality for a live camera and is perfectly good enough to see what she's up to. The only negative i could really say is i have had two or three times when the treats have not fired as they got jammed in the mechanism. This is obviously not ideal, but hasn't happened often enough for it to be a huge problem. There are quite a few features in the app, and there is a subscription mode that offers some interesting features like saving clips of what your dog gets up to throughout the day. I found I didn't need any of that. The camera does have a mic so you can hear what's going on which is useful. You can also speak to your dog, but presumably, because my voice is not coming from me, the most reaction I get when trying to give commands or even say her name is a slightly bemused head tilt. I would say if you're looking for a solution to leave your dog alone then this is an absolute life-saving bit of kit.

The set up was extremely straightforward. It comes complete with charging cable, plug and a leaflet for initial set up. Then you need to download the app and simply follow the instructions. I was offered one month free for the "Dog Nanny" subscription, which I have taken up to try out the premium features and work out whether I will need these in the future. These include a barking alert, a 15 second highlight of the day, a person alert, a dog alert barking; activity alerts; a selfie and cloud recording. I am really pleased with the quality of the camera both day and night vision and the panning capability. Another feature which is really useful if being able to use the microphone button to talk to my dog. The treat tosser is a great feature although I have to admit my dog doesn't get that many treats. She understood how it worked pretty quickly. The design is sleek and modern and will fit in on any surfaces. I have chosen to site it on a kitchen worktop. It is a bit on the expensive side and I'm unsure yet whether paying a monthly subscription will be necessary. However, it has some excellent features and certainly gives me peace of mind.

It does a great job but such long winded menues

I’ve always had a camera so I can check on my dog , however my old one didn’t allow 2 users to log in to check on her, as me and my partner like to be able to check on her. With this in mind I started searching for a new one that allowed this, and this camera allows 2 people to view at the exact same time with ease. At first I was a bit put off with the price as it was 5 times more expensive than previous cameras I’ve bought , however I decided to give it a go , and I’m so glad I did ! My dog slipped a disk on Christmas Day which left her with some long term health issues , she’s rarely left alone for long but when she is I have the piece of mind that I can check on her with an excellent picture , I love the tracking feature as when ever I log on I know the camera will be pointing at my dog , with my old one I had to pan around the room looking for her. It alerts me to her movements and when she barks which is useful. With the placement of this camera I also have no blind spots which I’ve had with previous cameras , so I know no matter where she is I will be able to see her. The speaker quality is excellent and I loved that I can record my voice so when I throw her a treat it’s my own recording. Yes a lot of the features are part of a subscription, I got 1 month free then the next 3 months for a deal , however I think I will keep up the subscription as I enjoy all the extra features to ensure my precious dog is safe. If you love your pet and can afford this camera I say go for it !

We could not connect it to wifi router. Apparently router settings must be amended😩

Necesita suscripción. Yo bajé Nanny Dog y me ha ayudado a monitorear a mi perrita. Nos mudamos a un lugar más pequeño y los primeros días en los que tenía que salir por horas, temía como pudiera tomarlo mi perrita, así que compré esta cámara para poder reaccionar en caso de ser necesario. Ella se ha portado muy bien. La cámara tiene funciones para hablarle, dejarle la voz granada y aventarle croquetas. Estas no las he usado, porque no quiero que mi perrita esté pegada a la cámara. Solo tengo disponibles las funciones en caso de realmente ser necesarias.

Je ne laisse pas d'avis généralement, par manque de temps ou de satisfaction moyenne. Pour cette petite caméra je suis pleinement satisfaite ! L'installation et l'application sont simples et surtout c'est la première caméra que j'arrive à connecter à ma Wi-Fi ! Les autres ( TAPO, IMUI, ECT.... ) n'ont jamais voulu obtempérer. Enfin un produit de qualité.
