I work from home and have a company issued laptop. When at home, my setup includes a dock and all the things I need for a multi monitor setup. As it turns out, my wife is also WFH and we realized we might want to go mobile and work from random places. She is in loan servicing, I am in finance. We both got one of these as we love the 2 monitor setup for being completely on the go. Easy to setup and pack away, the carrying bag is robust and has just enough space to store all the cables you need. I suggest having a dedicated power source for the monitor as some laptops don't have the required power output for an additional monitor to be used via USB or HDMI plug. We have a portable solar panel that charges a battery/power hub where we plug in whatever we need. Our full setup includes a solar panel, hotspot, battery, power strip, extension cord, comfy camp chair, adjustable laptop stand, EXTRA MONITOR, easy up canopy and cooler with treats. instant office anywhere you have sunshine and a cell signal. Video quality and resolution does the job, but I am not editing photos or media where color calibration matters. The audio for the monitor is pretty useless, but I always use my bluetooth headset for audio when working so that was a non issue for me. There is a spring loaded situation that attaches the monitor to the laptop, and don't forget the little top latch that holds this little guy in place. If you feel you need to, there is a nifty little support stand on the back of the extra monitor that you can absolutely adjust to the height and angle you need for the monitor. impressively simple, streamlined and effective. I love the looks I get when people realize that my laptop has a second monitor, I have had more than one random professional approach me and ask about it.

I've been very impressed with the Kefeya Laptop Screen Extenders. The displays are large, bright, and have a clear, sharp picture that makes multitasking much easier. Despite their generous screen size, they fold down into a compact package that's lightweight and easy to carry, making them perfect for travel or working remotely. One feature I really appreciated is that they include all the necessary cables for just about any laptop connection scenario, so setup is straightforward without having to purchase additional adapters or accessories. The monitors themselves are surprisingly sturdy, and the two screens connect securely to each other, making the entire unit feel like one solid piece. The only thing I'd point out to potential buyers is that the gap between the two extension monitors only closes down enough to fit around a 15- or 16-inch laptop. If you have a smaller laptop, it still works perfectly well—you'll just notice a little black space between your laptop screen and the extension monitors. On the other hand, the frame expands nicely to accommodate larger laptops. Overall, this is an excellent product that's well-built, portable, easy to set up, and delivers great picture quality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add extra screen space to their laptop.

The display quality is sharp, bright, and clear, making it perfect for working with multiple documents at the same time. I use it with my Lenovo laptop, and once it was connected correctly, it worked perfectly. The setup was straightforward, the screen feels sturdy, and it has really improved my productivity. I can now keep Excel open on one screen while viewing PDFs or Word documents on the other, which saves me a lot of time. The picture quality is excellent, it’s lightweight, and it’s easy to carry if you work from different locations. If you’re looking for an affordable and reliable portable monitor for work or school, I definitely recommend this one. It has exceeded my expectations!

Love it! I truly love what this does for your laptop! It looks great, the angle of adjustment, easy to connect as plug n play; it's a great addition and worth it. Sound is slightly muffled since it's just a screen but does just fine; chances are you're not buying this for sound. Connecting is simple with the usb-c and that's all. Brightness and color is easy to adjust, the screen is like a matte finish so it may appear different than your laptop screen but colors look great on it. My only quarrel is the rubber "claws" on the side. I work construction and out of my work truck every day and moving the laptop around, the weight of the screen leads to the screen falling off/coming unclamped. I just wish the rubber pieces were a little bigger so it would hold/grasp/clamp the main screen better. Again, it's not bad and for sitting stationary at a desk where you're not moving, this is perfect!

First, out of the box, it's a very easy setup IF you have a fully powered USB-C port on your laptop. Most newer ones do but be sure you have such a port (usually indicated by a small lightening symbol by it); if you don't, even though they send you USB-C to USB-A and USB-C to HDMI cables, they will NOT power the monitor enough. I imagine you'd have to buy the separate power adapter for the monitor they mention in the ad (NOT included) to make such a setup work. So be aware of that. I suppose perhaps they don't work just on my particular laptop, but I doubt that's the case. With the supplied USB-C to USB-C cable it works perfectly. Well, I won't say "perfectly" (and this is the reason I gave only 4 over all stars) because as you can see from the first picture, when compared to my native monitor, the colors are different. It doesn't matter what setting I use or adjust on the S1 monitor. I can never get it to be like the native monitor of my laptop (ROG STRIX). I suspect the reason for this is because one cannot utilize "HDR" on this monitor. Note the picture of the HDR setting. It's off by default and for good reason; if you turn it on, the screen goes dark and will not return until you turn HDR off. I suspect it can't be turned on because, maybe, you'd need the power adapter they mention to enable that feature. (the power from just the USB-C port, even a full powered one isn't enough). This is my suspicion but I can't confirm it as I don't have the power adapter they mention (I don't even know what it is to be honest, as it's rather vague their description of the "power adapter"). Regardless, HDR will not function on this monitor with just the equipment they provide. Now, with that said, it's a *perfectly fine* monitor for what I wanted, which was just a second monitor to turn my laptop into a mini-desktop setup. So I could play games on my laptop (in full screen) while sitting in my favorite chair and still have the ability to check email (or other websites) on the other screen. It's perfect for this, and really will be perfect for many situations that don't entail gaming. As you can see from the refresh rate tests attached, the refresh rate is approximately 50Hz (even though it says "calculating" the test never got to a state where it would be "finished" as in the test for my native monitor at 240Hz). But the test is accurate as it accurately reports the refresh rate for my native monitor. So, I'm quite confident it's accurate when testing this monitor. I can't tell you what website I went to test it, as my first review was rejected, I THINK because the screenshots had the testing website URL in it. So, I edited that out. Hopefully THIS review goes through. But you can search for any refresh test online it's quite easy and straightforward. The point is, that this is NOT a gaming monitor by any stretch of the imagination, but it's perfectly fine for non-gaming applications. The first picture of the entire setup is NOT edited in any way, that's how the color difference is. At first it was a little annoying (disappointing really) but I got used to it and really don't notice the difference anymore, but it is there in an objective sense. The colors don't seem as "rich" (i.e., they're washed out) on the S1 monitor compared to my laptop's own monitor. Again, not sure why but I suspect it's the HDR issue above. But again, really doesn't matter for doing stuff that's not gaming. As you can see, I don't use the kickstand that comes with it (on the back of the monitor). I'm not sure why it was built into the design it doesn't seem necessary. I was a bit concerned that the hinge may become worn and eventually not support the weight of the monitor but as I write this now it's well over a month since I've had this monitor and still the hinge/support system (without the kickstand) supports its weight perfectly fine without showing any signs of wear on the hinge. So again, not sure what the kickstand is for. I wouldn't worry about the weight of it in other words, it's more a question of whether or not you are expecting a decent refresh rate for gaming and/or if you don't have a USB-C connection. Don't buy this for gaming; don't buy it if you don't have a USB-C port. DO buy it though if you just want a mini-desktop (like me) and don't care too much about the (somewhat slight) color differences. You actually might not have a difference if you don't have a gaming laptop actually. As a side note, the weight of it is not too heavy to be supported by lighter laptops like an HP Elitebook, which I also have for work. Again, you don't need the kickstand even for a light laptop like that. It holds up fine on its own. I hope you found this review useful. Edit: A few days after posting this review, the seller reached out to me to try some color adjustments on the monitor, to see if that would work to get the S1 to be the same as my own laptop's monitor. While sadly they didn't work, it did make the difference less noticeable, (not pictured). For this reason (since they reached out to me) I'm revising my review to five stars. It was good customer service I'd say.

Perfect for travel. Compact and lightweight. It doesn't pull my laptop screen down, even in scenarios when I can not use the built in stand. It comes with several cords, making it compatible with nearly any device. The color quality is good and I like that the brightness can be adjusted.

Perfetto per lo smart working e per chi ha necessità di lavorare su due schermi come me. Per quanto riguarda il collegamento per i pc più vecchiotti ha due cavi HDMI-USB ( uno per audio e uno per video) mentre per i pc che hanno audio e video integrato ne basta solo uno, ossia quello USB-C. Andando poi nelle impostazioni del pc ( Windows) nella sezione dello schermo, basterà selezionare “estendi schermo” per dividere i due schermi, altrimenti di default si integra al primo. Un acquisto davvero ottimo!

Da ich häufig unterwegs arbeite, war ich auf der Suche nach einer unkomplizierten Möglichkeit, meinen Laptop um einen zweiten Bildschirm zu erweitern. Nach einigen Tagen im Einsatz kann ich sagen, dass sich die Anschaffung definitiv gelohnt hat. Die Einrichtung war wirklich einfach. Über USB-C angeschlossen, wurde der Monitor sofort erkannt – ganz ohne Treiber oder komplizierte Einstellungen. Innerhalb weniger Minuten war mein mobiles Dual-Monitor-Setup einsatzbereit. Die Bildqualität hat mich positiv überrascht. Das Full-HD-IPS-Display liefert ein scharfes Bild mit angenehmen Farben und guten Blickwinkeln. Für Office-Arbeiten, Excel, Programmierung, Videokonferenzen oder auch das Bearbeiten von Dokumenten ist die Größe von 14 Zoll absolut ausreichend. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass sich der Monitor zusammenklappen lässt und trotz der zusätzlichen Bildschirmfläche nicht viel Platz in der Laptoptasche einnimmt. Die Verarbeitung wirkt stabil und hochwertig, und auch der ausklappbare Standfuß sorgt dafür, dass alles sicher steht. Für mich hat sich die Produktivität spürbar verbessert. E-Mails auf einem Bildschirm und Tabellen oder Dokumente auf dem anderen – kein ständiges Wechseln zwischen Fenstern mehr. Genau dafür hatte ich das Gerät gekauft. Insgesamt ein durchdachtes Produkt mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wer regelmäßig im Homeoffice, auf Geschäftsreisen oder unterwegs arbeitet und mehr Bildschirmfläche benötigt, kann mit dieser Laptop-Bildschirmerweiterung eigentlich nichts falsch machen.
