Yup
So much better and easier to use than a lifestraw.

Great for travel.
Great for travel. Not a huge fan of straws or filters for home use. But, that's not this bottle's fault. I did not find the straw overly difficult to use. Easier than a milkshake. Might not be my choice bottle for the gym. But, I love it for traveling. Filters are expensive, though.

Difficult
The bottle doesn’t seem to keep the ice cold, and it’s very difficult to get the water from the straw

It’s a great bottle!
Love mine! Filter works super well. Don’t forget to remove the protective plastic film from the filter inside attached to the straw. :)

Not User Friendly
Super disappointed with this bottle. The top is super small so good luck getting ice into it. You HAVE to use the filter which makes the drinking flow super slow and it feels like you're sucking a thick milkshake out of a tiny straw. You could take the filter off and just use the straw but then you lose 3 inches of the capacity. That also means you are pretty much stuck buying the filters from them for the life of the bottle. I'm already filling it with filtered water from my fridge so having the option of using it without the filter would be nice. I'm gonna end up finding a straw that I can use and toss the filter.

Not insulated but great filtering
I prefer water room temperature, so for me the lack of insulation on this bottle was fine. For people who like ice cold water, you will want to get the vacuum insulated version. But the tradeoff is that this version is lighter and has a great silicone boot build in. This helps with eliminating noise as well as keeps it in a cup holder a little more secure. It also comes with a nice carabiner style clip. Although I though the placement of the clip wasn't great, I would have preferred it on the back side and not the front. As far as filtering goes, this works extremely well. I have well water with a little sulfer in it and a lot of iron, and this filtering water bottle makes the water taste like nothing. No more faint eggy smell, and no more water tasting like pennies! You do need to suck a little harder through the straw to pull the water through the filter, but it isn't difficult. Just need a little time to get used to it and then you don't even realize you are doing it.This is on the higher end for price, but that is due to the filtering that is built into this. It does absolutely filter out everything giving you fresh, clean tasting water and it is a very attractive bottle.

A great looking bottle but seems expensive to maintain
First off I have to say the water this produces does taste great and the bottle is sleek and well designed. I like the carabiner that's built in and its minimalist look. When factoring in the cost to maintain it though ($16 per filter replacement every two months which is roughly $100 a year) I don't see the advantage over just filling up a regular water bottle with the filtered water from my kitchen fridge. If I had this for 10 years it would be a $1,000 water bottle. Also, you have to really slurp hard through the folding straw to draw out the water through the filter. Overall it is a clever and innovative idea but lowering the cost of the replacement filters would make it a much more enticing product.

A nice water bottle that has a few downsides
I own a lot of water bottles. My wife and I got into this craze long before I got really popular. My favored brand so far is the Owalla brand for its size and drinkability. I was really excited to try these LARQs out as I've heard a lot about them lately. It is a really nice bottle that could use a few improvements.First the good. The filter is a nice addition and it's signature quality. It makes refilling on the go much easier and more trustworthy by making public tap water taste better. This version though does not clean out pathogens though like their more expensive cousins. I wish it did that, that would've been nice to try out. But the filter defiantly makes the water taste better and with an expected life of about two to three months, I'll defiantly get my fair use out of it. This would make a fantastic workplace or school bottle if you drink lots of water and need refills often.I also really like the styling of this bottle. It fits great in my hand and the straw feels good in my mouth. My first issue is the filter though, which I guess can't be helped but with the filter in place, it makes sucking water out of the bottle a bit of a chore. I realize that's just a by-product of having a portable filter but it is really noticeable here. The filter also takes up quite a of room so filling the water bottle can be tricky. You need to account for its size while filling up with water or else you're going to spill everywhere. The weight of the bottle isn't bad, but it is on the heavy side, once again, probably because of the filter. The final issue I have with the bottle and this might be the biggest is that this version is not insulated. I don't who out there wants a water bottle that is NOT insulated... They say it makes this bottle lightweight but when compared to my insulated Owalla it wasn't much lighter. I realize the filter is adding weight, but a Non-Insulated water bottle is really difficult to use when it's even just a little warm outside. I found my water heating up quickly on even mild 80* days.Keep that in mind if you're looking at this version of the LARQ line of bottles. It makes a huge difference!
