If you bought a gallon it should come with a bottle of activator. Just pour it in and shake. Good for one year afterwards. If you hat anything smaller than a gallon I believe it comes pre activated.

Yes it can be dyed. After that whatever you used and has the dye in it, that’s a wrap it’ll be that color for the rest of its life
