For what it costs it’s brilliant. It doesn’t smell of anything and it’s easy to use but make sure you use SPF on your skin if you are outside the next day. Also be careful around your eyes and use extra eye cream first to prevent irritation. Don’t use with hyalaronic acid either use that in the morning and this at night - that’s standard retinol practise I’m told. If you know what you’re doing with retinol this is a brilliant product and at incredibly good value.

I love this product. It is awesome how such a cheap cosmetic can be that good. I’ve been using Ordinary retinol for a while now and I see a huge improvement in the quality of my skin!

I’ve always found retinol works for me but never been sure which brand to buy since ROC retinol disappeared from Boots. A friend recommended this brand - she uses the 2% but i started with the 1% because retinol can sting and because it was also cheaper.Because this product is oil l-based it feels a little greasy. I also don’t like the smell very much. However, it’s quickly absorbed if you don’t use too much and the smell disappears within a minute or less. The main thing though is that it works. From day two I noticed my skin looked smoother and less sallow and it’s still improving.I’d definitely recommend this product.

This is an excellent product. It really works. But you may have to get used to it if your skin is not used to retinol. Mine is used to it. I am 62 and have very few lines on my skin because of retinol products. This particular one does not dry out the skin like the old fashioned reTin A I used to buy through the dermatologist. Don't be fooled by expensive face creams they don't actually change the molecular structure of the skin unless they have retinol. This does.

Great product which seems to be doing the trick for a fraction of what other manufacturers charge. The packaging is simple but effective and the product first class.
