These work exactly as described
Easy to install in western hat that had no ventilation. Drilled holes in hat with 1/8 th inch bit, then inserted the eyelets. Superior product. Thanks.

Value and quality
The color wasn’t as bright as I would have liked however it worked for my project.

Perfect!
I had to install grommets in a straw hat so that i could add a hat string. it worked perfectly. Very simple but that's all you need. Cheap, too.

Good for small number of eyelets I needed
I bought this product because I needed to do less than 10 eyelets, and the tool and eyelets were all in one package. I ran the eyelets through a layer of (relatively) thick leather, and they attached OK, look good. Don't know how well they will work or if they will last long as I have not used the leather product much yet. I put two eyelets in a leather strap loop to attach the strap loop to a hiking stick using a metal chain link. Use the strap around my wrist to help hold on to hiking stick and assure it does not slip over the edge of a cliff or float down a stream if I should happen to drop it. So, I hope the eyelets work well to hold the leather to my hiking stick.

Worked well on my thick car seat cover straps and actual cover material made of fire hose like material. On the thinner material I used 2 plastic inserts, 1 on each side.

Works great
Works great! My first time doing grommets and I did 28 with all of them looking professional. The key is to make sure you have the correct size "neck/stem height". The washer side should be just under the neck when the fabric is slightly compressed. Hit it twice and your done. I gave it 4 stars because these tools are very small but, they do a great job..
