This is a great peel, solid and attractive. The handle is a good length for typical household oven sizes, so it’s easy to launch the pizza without undue risk. Note to beginning pizza makers; you definitely want to lightly coat the peel with semolina to avoid sticking. This is a fantastic upgrade to my previous peel, which was made of metal. After one too many sticky launch disasters, I decided to level up. I still will use the metal one for rotating and removing, but this is my new go-to for launching.

If your serious about pizza making, you need a peel. This one is well made and large enough for a 16 inch pizza. I like that it's made of bamboo, a renewable resource, and it's light enough for anyone to use. Rub some flour into it and sprinkle some semolina on it, and your pizza will come off no problem!

This LX LERMX pizza peel is a fantastic kitchen companion! The bamboo construction is beautiful and feels sturdy in my hand. Plus, it's nice knowing I'm using an eco-friendly material. The size is perfect for maneuvering pizzas into a hot oven. The wide paddle makes a great cutting board for slicing afterwards. It's a real space saver! I especially love the versatility of this tool. I've used it for everything from transferring homemade bread to serving cheese and crackers. It's become a go-to for casual get-togethers. Here's a heads up for new pizzaiolos: be mindful of the heat in your oven. Launching the pizza can be a little tricky because the bamboo material can char if left in the hot zone for too long. I found I needed to develop a bit of a two-peel technique - using a separate peel to slide the pizza out after using this one to launch. Once I got the hang of it, it wasn't a problem, but it's something to keep in mind. Overall, this is a great pizza peel, especially for the price. It's multifunctional, well-made, and looks great. Just be prepared to potentially use a second peel for retrieve the pizza from the oven.

Great product

This is the perfect pizza peel for somebody just getting into it. The handles just the right size where it works for most any person. it's not too heavy. The bamboo is nice looking. And was just a little bit of semolina flour pizza dough does not stick to it. Easy to launch the pizza.

I wanted a large board mostly for serving pizzas. This peel seems to be fairly decent quality. The handle is thin enough to wrap your hand around. HOWEVER... The board is pretty heavy to easily hold one handed -- I would need to use two hands once it's loaded with a pizza. The end of the peel is too thick to be able to retrieve a pizza from the oven. And, you would NOT be able to get a 16" pie on this peel. The edges are all beveled, so you lose a good inch or so, plus the length of the board is not 16" up to the edges and the handle. I will be able to use this to launch a pie, and to serve -- but I'd need my thin steel pizza peel to pull a pie out of the oven. I liked the idea of the handle, but I am deciding whether to return it and get a plain round board without handle just for serving.

Very nice peel. I prefer a wood peel for launch. Using with my OONI 16" oven and it slides right in and the pizza launches perfectly.

Well made perfect for a large pizza or making bread.
