Easy to take, no weird chemicals!

Love this stuff, buying my 5th container of it now! I mix this into orange juice every morning and it helps prevent any cold sores that I've notoriously gotten since I was a child. I haven't gotten one in about a year and I think this supplement has been a huge help in that! I've also noticed it's been helping my acne prone skin! One container lasts me about 2-3 months so this is a very affordable supplement.

I have used this product for years! It is the best for keeping me from getting cankor sores or if I should happen to get a sore, it will go away quicker than any other thing I have ever used. I highly recommend it!

I tend to get canker sores when I'm stressed out or when I eat highly acidic foods. My dentist recommended that when I feel one coming on, I should take lysine, and he also prescribed a paste to put on the area before bed time. So as soon as I know I'm getting one, I put one scoop of this lysine powder into some juice, twice a day, and it works wonders. Granted, I'm using the paste as well and by using both, I can avoid the canker sore altogether - by the next morning, it's gone! Without the paste, just using the lysine, it means the canker sore is gone in a couple of days, so it's not like this is a miracle drug on its own but definitely worth having in your arsenal if canker sores are an issue for you. It is ridiculous that it took me so long to find out about this but glad I know now. I also hate swallowing pills so I really love that this is a powder that dissolves in juice easily so it's easy to swig it down. It doesn't taste great, but not terrible. Sort of adds a "plastic-y" taste to apple juice. So worth it though to avoid pesky canker sores that used to cause agony for 7-10 days at a time!

The product arrived just fine and as advertised. I got it because I suddenly had bumps appear on my lips sort of like cold sores and thought that lysine would help. I think it did but the side effect for me is that it acted like a vasodilator which I don't need; it caused my veins under my skin to be more obvious. I also put some of the powder into a little water & dabbed it on the bumps; that seemed to help. This is a good product if you need more lysine in your diet for some reason. You can put it into a glass of water or other liquid & drink it.

I have used this product for years for my senior cats. I have 5 resident cats at any time and rarely do they come done with URIs and if one does it normally does not spread or is very, very mild. One cat was adopted at 8 years old and had chronic sneezing. After a year of the L-lysine supplement she finally stopped the daily sneezing episodes altogether and has not gotten sick once since we adopted her. I swear by this product and I add a full scoop to each cat's morning breakfast. It is odorless and tasteless - some cats may not like the grittiness, so I dilute it first in a few drops of water before mixing it with the canned food. I've had no issues with any of the cats rejecting it. The cost on Amazon is almost 40% less than what I was paying at a vitamin shop here in town for the exact same thing.

Love this product. I cannot tolerate L-carnitine, so I use this with L-methionine for skin and muscle health (great for anti-aging benefits.) The body converts L-lysine and L-methionine into L-carnitine, so when I began to have allergic reactions to L-carnitine, even in it's pure powder form, I replaced it with the precursor amino acids with no issues. This is pure and has no fillers.

Works well for cold sores. I mix it with an applesauce cup and it blends well too.
