Funny!
I have to say - of the four Blue Collar Comedy Tour comedians, I have to like Bill Engvall best. I started out a BIG fan of Foxworthy, and still remain one but Bill has developed into a better comedian as he ages. This is one of his best DVDs. Don't miss it.We have all three Blue Collar DVDs as well as individual ones of each : Ron White, Foxworthy, Engvall & Larry the Cable Guy. We dig them out on an occasional rainy Saturday or Sunday, nuke up some popcorn, platter up some nibbles and veg in front of the tube to watch them all. Nothing wrong with that. Occasionally, we grab some Jeff Dunham, Gabriel Inglesias & Lewis Black to round things out.

The Clean Comedian
I am rating this review based on Bill's prior stand-ups. I have ordered this DVD, and anxiously await it. Bill is my wife and mine's favorite comedian out of the Blue Collar group. We like Jeff and Larry, but Bill is our favorite. Ron is our black sheep, that we would rather not see on the Blue Collar list. Anyway, I also wanted to review this because the only other reviewer here is by someone who bought the wrong item, and reviewed the DVD instead of the CD. I don't think any of Bill's stuff should have a 1 star rating. He turns everyday life into funny stuff. That's where Bill and Jeff top the cake, because they make family life that would normally be mondane, into funny, and at the same time, keep it clean. Larry is also funny, but for a different reason, he makes fun of all those who think you have to be pollitcally correct around everyone. As a Christmas present for my wife, I bought this DVD and tickets to Bill's show this tour. This is something she has wanted to go to for years now, ever since she heard him on his "Hers's Your Sign" CD. So, I really look forward to seeing this DVD, and being able to see Bill in person for the first time with my wife. I hope he keeps on doing the stand up, unlike Jeff, who I thought should have kept going with it and gave it up for too many TV Shows that didn't make it (except: "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader). My hat's off to you Bill.

He's aged and confused all right.
I love Bill Engvall and I loved 15 Degrees off Cool so I had high expectations for this DVD. Unfortunately, Bill appears to be going through a mid-life crisis. It was off right from the start. Instead of telling us about his life, Bill talked about odd events he had read in the newspaper. I can read those for myself, thank you very much. Bill goes on to tell us how much he loves his wife, and what she has to put up with, but what comes across instead is how unhappy he is in his marriage. The stories about his wife are no longer funny, but on the edge of bitter. One cannot help but sympathize with Gail - all Bill wants to do is watch TV or sit on the beach drinking Mai-Tais.When they went on vacation to Costa Rica (a country I love) Bill comes across as a party pooper. Bill's idea of fun is drinking. You can do that in the US. Gail wants to go zip-lining (tons of fun) and take advantage of all the other activities Costa Rica offers. In Bill's defense, I will say that the "shark feeding frenzy" sounded like a must miss to me too.Bill in a "red bow" was Bill as himself again - hilarious. And the "Here's Your Sign "Bonus" feature was also classic, funny Bill. But all in all, he made old age sound like a real downer (I'm older than Bill and I can tell you he is WRONG - so cheer up) and made you wonder if he isn't headed for a divorce (which I truly hope is NOT the case). But it sure made me wonder what Gail thought of this DVD.If I could do it over I would not have purchased this DVD. It's mediocre, at best.

Funny take on getting older
We are big fans of Bill Engvall and he did not disappoint us with this show. We also happened to see it performed live before the DVD came out and I would rate this just as high as seeing it in person. The only reason I didn't rate it with five stars is that I think it should be longer. If you have ever enjoyed Bill Engvall, Blue Collar Comedy shows, etc. then you will enjoy this one. Since we are about the same age, his observations are particularly humorous to me because he talks about real-life situations and they really are funny when we look back on them.

Bill Delivers
I have been a Bill Engvall fan for over 10 years, and he did not pull any stops on this latest effort. Just about everyone can relate to his comedy. His laughter is contagious. He reminds me of Bill cosby, telling stories rather than one liners. It nice to know that there are comics out there that know that funny does not require swearing with every other word. I actually bought the CD first but wanted to see the DVD, so I could see his gestures and interaction with the audience. You will be happy with this purchase.

Always funny
Bill Engvall is always a funny comic, and especially if you are over 50. Like Seinfeld, he sees the humerous in everyday things
