Lucas Oil 10020 Upper Cylinder Lube/Fuel Treatment - 5.25 fl oz.

This a great product that I have been using for years in my 2011 Ram 3500 Cummins diesel. I have no affiliation with this company and this has been a test of time. My truck now has 201,000 miles on it and I have had zero issues with my engine and or any part of my fuel system, this mixture will treat your fuel system, for moisture, raise your cetene levels for more horse power (noticeable), add fuel milage, keep your injectors and injector pumps clean and lubricated, keep your compression brake clean and working properly. NOTE!!! I mix this 50/50 with Marvels Mystery oil about 16oz per 34Gal of diesel on every fill up, well worth the price.

I've used this in every vehicle I owned for nearly 20 years. It's almost a traditional ritual for any used, new to me vehicles I've bought and owned. My personal trick is running the car to the fuel light, them pumping 3 to 5 gallons of ethanol free gas on top of a "slightly heavier than recommended" dose of Lucas. Then I put some miles on, with a few good 75mph freeway runs before I do an oil change. Everything's operating at high speed, high rpm and flowing, injecting, pumping and burning at peak power and efficiency. All my vehicles run like tops. I saw a fuel efficiency increase in my 2000 Corolla by nearly 4 mpg. Idled was smoother, car ran better. That's when I knew it was legit. Unlike those harsh, thin STP style cleansers, Lucas is more like an oil, a lubricant. Better on o-rings, rubber or delicate parts over something with the harshness of carb and choke cleaner. Just be careful, it does work in certain situations that could cause more work. I put it in an old motorcycle that ran "okay" but had ZERO leaks. Turned out the crap in the bowls was what was keeping them sealed! The Lucas did its job but broke up the crud in the bowls and they started leaking like a sieve. I had to do a full carb rebuild, but the bowls, needles and jets were super easy to clean because the Lucas broke most of it down. No ultra sonic needed. Cleaned and polished parts, reassembled and it ran like a Japanese sewing machine! In vehicles, I try to run it once per 3k miles, like I said, best right before an oil change. Great product, highly recommened.

So I've been using this in 2 cars for the last 6 weeks. A 2019 Honda Civic 1.5L and a 2016 BMW 528i 2L. Both cars very well maintained. Starting with the Honda the first tank of gas I put in 6 oz. Overall the car was running pretty good before the treatment but would shake at stop lights at times to a point of putting the car in neutral just so I wouldn't feel it. Didn't notice much of an improvement after the first tank. Second tank cut back to 4oz. Started to feel some results. No more shakes and hold the rpm to a steady 600. Third tank and the car is running the best it has in3 years. The BMW I just bought 3 months ago 84k miles in very good condition but was a bit rough and noisy running. First tank 8oz in and I could feel some things happening. Slightly better running. Second tank, 6oz in. Like the Honda the improvements began. I started to get a odd burning smell at times. No leaks so no worries. 3rd tank and still running better with the smell sometimes. I'm pretty sure carbon is burning off and that's what the smell is. I'm seeing what looks like soot on my chrome tips at times. No doubt the car starts faster and runs smoother now. I'm very interested to see how it runs after another couple tanks. Overall this stuff is a great value but don't expect instant results and I wouldn't recommend using it as a one and done. Buy a gallon and add it to the gas for at least 6 tanks of gas. Your motor didn't go bad in 400 miles and bringing it back will take some time too.

This stuff is amazing, ive used it many years and it definitely made my trucks hesitation go away and smoothed out my idle, im getting a bit better mileage aswell..ill always be using Lucas

Seems to be doing the job but the bottle doesn’t fit into the gas tank. Must use a funnel. A lot of fuel additives come in a bottle with a long skinny neck for easy use. But not this. However, you only need 3 oz for every 10 gallons it says (or maybe 15, I forget) so it lasts quite a while. Using it in a car with 120k miles that was stumbling a bit…partly due to my wife always running it down to the gas light being on. 😡 But it’s doing the trick. I’m gonna make her azz get filthy if I have to end up replacing the fuel pump though.

Excellent product. Use a little and keeps engine running smoothly. Does it do what it claims, don’t know since I don’t disassemble the engine to see. It does run smoother than without. You still need to use Techron though to clean the intake valves (if you have port injection) and fuel injectors. I wish they would redesign the spout to pour with more control.

Excelente aditivo, a muy buen precio tanto para diésel y gasolina muy recomendable para cuando el combustible no es de tan buena calidad. Actualización 01/06/19 Llevo 3 años usándolo y es excelente, literal del rendimiento que da y performance se paga solo(uso dentro de la CDMX) muy, muy bueno.
