I work my truck hard towing 7,000+lbs consistently, so high oil pressure and lack of oil consumption is important to me. My oil stays cleaner longer and I no longer burn a drop of oil when using Lucas. Spring is here so I'll be doing an oil change soon and switching back over to Lucas heavy duty for this towing season. That generation Civic used a Honda brand only 30 weight transmission oil. A standard 30 weight would promote syncro wear as it lacks the shear resistance needed for lateral movement across the syncro hubs.
