This is okay quality. The wood isn't even f solid pieces of wood but it looks okay and seems sturdy enough. Some of the side pieces for the house part weren't even cut straight on the ends and they weren't pre-drilled, some of the other pieces were, which made it more difficult to line it up right. It's looks okay from farther away but I would have expected better quality.I was missing bolts for the scratching poles, so I could either do the stand alone step or the scratching post with the shelves. I did the shelves but I can't put together the step now.The instructions were not good at all. You could kind of follow the picture and even without it you can figure it out but they are just not good instructions. It wasn't too bad to assemble, except for the house because it took longer to try to align everything right without the predrilled holes and the crooked cuts.The wall anchors are not good at all. They are cheap and don't hold even the weight of the shelves very well. I like the fact they gave you options for solid wall or sheet rock but the plastic butterfly anchors just came right out. Any pressure at all and the shelf started falling. I went and purchased some metal butterfly anchors and now it is secure and safe for my cats.Overall I expected much better quality and was disappointed. The cutting, the lack of predrilled holes on some of it, and the horrible anchors really bring this down. The not being one solid piece is fine, the scratching posts are decent, the sizes of everything is pretty good. The fact I still had to go out and buy more stuff just to put them up was very annoying. My cats do enjoy it all though.
