Does the job
It's annoying that there are several different types of digital audio socket.This adaptor saves the hassle and expense of having to buy a new cable because one end is incompatible with your device.

Good quality and value
The techlink toslink to 3.5mm optical adaptor converts one end of a toslink fibre (the small square adaptor) optic cable to a 3.5mm optical adaptor. The 3.5mm connector looks like a headphone jack and is used by apple among others on their AirPort Express .)The WiresNX Adaptor let me cheaply reuse a fairly expensive fibre optic cable rather than get a new one with the right ends I needed. Comes well packaged and seems well made - including gold plated connectors - though I am not sure why on an optical cable they are needed.

It is nice
It is a quality product for the price. The only thing is that I realised that I did not need it after I had ordered it. But I have kept it because I know that I will find a use for it one day.
