excellent cheese slicer
excellent slicer which cuts smoothly without crumbling the cheese unlike other similar models - well worth the extra cost - would recommend

Worth the money
I bought what I thought to be a decent cheese slicer from Russell Hobbs for about £8 and found it to be terrible to the point I actually gave in and threw it away. When looking around for a good replacement I found this one and was wondering if spending £13.99 on a cheese slicer was actually worth it, before I suddenly remembered how badly the £8 one functioned and confirmed the purchase. Upon arrival I was still unsure how well it would actually function, however I was pleasantly surprised when it did exactly as advertised. It sliced through the block of cheese with no problem and also separated from it meaning the slices didn't end up broken (which is what I would experience with the Russell Hobbs version, if it managed to get a clean slice). Exactly what I expected when I ordered, if this is something you are going to use regularly, the build quality seems really good so it should last a long time and it is miles better than the cheaper alternatives

A nice idea, but not so good with crumbly cheeses
This is a great week made product. Cuts softer cheeses really well. Giving good even slices. But on harder, mature, cheddar it often causes a chunk to break off. Simple to use. Simple to clean. The address texture on the blade helps stop the cheese sticking.

It works really well. Recommended.
I really like this! I don't think I have ever had so much fun with a kitchen implement since I bought my hand mixer. This slicer works so well it cuts cheese reasonably thin I would suggest about three millimeters give or take, it cuts it so well and it makes life so much easier to make sandwiches or cut cheese for cheese on toast or just for fun and then you eat the cheese afterwards. Is reasonable size for a UK cheeses I've tried it on Red Leicester and also Cheddar which it cuts like a hot knife through butter.
