Overpriced
Seems expensive for a bunch of plastic. Clothing is lightweight muslin. We'll see how it weathers being outdoors for several weeks. It was a bit of a challenge to unscrew one side due to the position of the ribcage. Also, there is a lightbulb in the eye, too bad it doesn't have that functionality. Aside from the price and clothing, it will be a fun holiday add to the yard.

Aside from it being a little boney... this is a great Halloween skeleton!! Lol!
I figured sitting it on a toilet would be a great way to show the scale of it. And, it would be pretty funny, lol. At first though, I was worried that I might have a difficult time getting it to stay there and look good, but to my amazement it was quite easy to do. If you get one of these and want to try something similar, just keep in mind that you can use some pliers and a phillips head screwdriver to tighten up some of the joints if need be. You can't tighten them all up but some of them can be tightened just enough to stay in a position you are trying to put it in.Obviously, from the pictures you can tell that it does indeed come with the clothes on. There were quite a few long and raggedy threads hanging off of them but it was easy enough to just cut them off. Also, the one eye socket that doesn't have the patch over it DOES light up. It's not easy to see the switch but it's there. Right underneath the base of the skull. There should be one of those plastic pieces sticking out of the battery compartment right by the switch too. Just make sure you pull that out first because the red light won't come on with the switch until you do.I'm sure some of you have noticed me referring to the skeleton as an "it" throughout this review. And that's just because I can be sure if it's one gender or another. Considering the clothes it has on I assume they have meant for it to be a male. But really, it can be any gender you want it to be. Once it's yours that's your choice.

Finally, a large skeleton!
I love the skeleton itself. The size, the look, all of it is great. However, the directions aren't the best, and worse, the screws you have to remove to attach the head are in the worst possible place. If you use a stubby screwdriver, the ribs are in the way, and if you use a full-size screwdriver, you have to insert it on an angle, which makes it way harder than it needs to be. It shows a light-up eye in the pictures, but the instructions don't show how to turn it on. I cannot for the life of me find a switch to turn it on, a battery compartment, or anything. The joints only move in one direction (up and down), meaning it isn't as posable as you might hope. The MSRP is a bit high, considering it's not as posable as it could be, and the instructions are terrible.

Dressed up for a night out
The Hourleey 5’ Halloween skeleton comes fully dressed, but requires some assembly. The instructions are not very clear, but you will need to attach the skull. You do this by unscrewing two screws in the neck prior to trying to insert the skull. Once I figured that out, it was easy. I like that the skeleton comes in his pirate clothes, and his eye lights up red. I did have to tighten every single joint to make the skeleton stiff enough to position. This took some time with pliers and a screwdriver. The shoulder joints do not tighten, so the arms will hang. I do like the coloring of the skeleton, and he makes a good addition to my holiday display. I recommend this!

Very cool once put together...
Putting this together was not easy. I literally tore up my knuckles trying to get the skull on the body. Eventually had to take a bunch of screws out (that weren't supposed to come out) just to get the skull on and then put it all back together. Took away one star for that...other than that, we love it! It looks great and the eye-lighting up looks great!

Average material
Not the strongest. Actually the hips broke off after a few 12 year olds were messing with it. However not a big issue since it will now be used that way. Just be careful with this.

Missing it’s head!!!
Looks like it would be fine if it wasn’t missing the most important part!

Performs up to standards with a constant smile
Skeleton (he hasn't yet told us his name) arrived for work on time, appropriately dressed in pirate casual attire, and easily integrated into the workgroup by consistently demonstrating good posture and quietly listening to others. He supports external partners with a wave thru the window, as well as a smile for all.During his transition period he lost his head, or rather it was in the wrong place. This was likely the result of being placed in a box that confined him and once removed from those constraints quick adjustments were made, resulting in a speedy return to form which demonstrates resilience in the workplace.Skeleton plans to support his team throughout spooky season in whatever capacity he is needed, his versatility is appreciated and bodes well for a productive work relationship. His co worker crow did shed some light on some rather messy workspace conditions, he can strive for improvement by keeping his desk a bit neater in the future.
