works good and my daughter likes it
Indoors or outdoors it's fun and kids love it!I love that it's rechargeable. It's the kind of thing each kid will want to have their own or they will be fighting over the controls, so be ready for that.

Lights and sound are optional and can be easily turned off and on using remote control!
First off, the noise is pretty loud and sorta obnoxious, but luckily you can turn off the sound! I LOVE THAT! You have the option to run with sound and lights, with no sound and no lights, or one or the other! Very, very nice feature. But turning off the sound and lights, it extends the play time to run the car. I like that it has to heigh options also, one for more flat surfaces, and raised for rougher terrains. Being autumn and rainy, we havnt tested it outdoors yet, but on lower height setting, it runs great on laminate floors! The higher setting works well over carpeted areas and it's REALLY easy to switch modes with the remote. We havnt gotten the hand of using the hand remote thing, so mainly have only used the actual remote control. Is has a little dance feature that it will do a little dance and play a little music, which is cute. My 8 year old son loves playing with it and trying to make little trick moves. It came with a backup battery so you can switch it out to extend play time. It fully charges connected to a PC in a couple hours or less and my son plays easily over 30 mins on a full charge. We didn't time it exactly but I was impressed he was still running it much longer than I expected. We have had similar cars in the past and you were luckily to get 30 mins of au and those batteries took hours to charge. Which really sucks. This one definitely has all similar ones beat in that aspect. I would have liked a little bit of rubber on the tires for a little better traction on hard floors, but it scoots so oh well. Overall, I like it, my son likes it, and I do recommend of you like R/C cars. Again, I LOVE that you can turn the sound off and not run lights, which does extend the play time. Decent run time on single charge!

Fun Fun
The Gesture Sensing RC Stunt Car is a great remote car for kids of all ages. I got this for our 6-year-old that is in our household for a while, and he just loves it. He has other remote-control vehicles and this one is by far the best. It comes with a backup battery and charging cord. There is always a battery on the charger, because he runs them out constantly, so while one is in car the other is charging and ready for him. The car has lights, moves forward and backwards, and raises up. He can make the car dance side to side, while the car is dancing, he dances with it. The finger hand gesture is kind of hard for him to use due to his little hand being so small, but he will eventually be able to use it as well.Very well-made stunt car, and it is very sturdy, good quality, and durable. This stunt car will last him a long time even with gifts being so rough on toys.

Not impressed
Good for money for those who have enough to waist. Didn't work on grass and slowly on the road. Best for flat surface only

Great toy for gift giving
My 10-year-old grandson has owned plenty of remote-controlled cars in his life, but he loved the fact that this one was "gesture sensing." The sensor band is large in size, and it took quite a bit of trial and error to attach the straps to our grandson's small hand and finger. We discovered that the finger sensor operates the vehicle more efficiently when placed close to the tip of the finger. After my husband helped unpackage the car and loaded the remote with 2 double A batteries, he and my grandson were pleasantly surprised that the car itself came with enough charge to use right out of the box! The ground effects lighting and realistic rumble of the "engine" were cool features, and our grandson was thrilled that the car not only rolled backward and forward but also side to side. He's learning to perfect the hand gestures now and can't wait to take the car outdoors to try some stunts.
