I have only listened to this a couple of times, maybe three. I like it, but I think I should have bought the DVD first. Great arrangements, however, very solid renditions. I just wish there were longer versions of the selections.

Very rarely buy CDs anymore but was struck after seeing the Chico & Rita movie/cartoon. Thought the movie was great, the music superb. Being somewhat obscure, it took a little time to track down a vendor. As with so many items, Amazon to the rescue.This music works so well in many environments - this is pure latin soul.

Having enjoyed the animated film it was pure joy to hear the music again and again fantastic arrangements try it you'll like it if you are into Latin music

More beautiful jazzy caribbean music similar to that in the film documentary. Warm, soothing with lots of horns and piano like in a jazz club.

Score! Love the music!I don't any thing else like it, it's a first!I have the recent Sabor Ah mi remix by Luis Miguel but that's about it.Lovely melodies, relaxing sounds!Shipped from Argentina so it took a little long but was worth the wait.

Authentic Latin Jazz w/all the Grammy & well known musicians/singers of the past half century. The film was pretty sweet as well; it deserved the 2010 Foreign Language full length animated feature Oscar even 'tho the award went to another production.

I stumbled across this animated adult movie on Netflix and was captivated by the detailed scenes and the wonderful soundtrack. I had to buy the CD after seeing this movie. Highly recommended!

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, very well done on many levels, so decided to send for the soundtrack. I expected more of the smokey, sensual female vocals but got too much of the upbeat tracks that were far too similar. If that's what you like then go for it, but if you want more of the slow and sexy, you won't find it here. The artwork and presentation though, are excellent.

Schwungvolle Jazz-Musik, die einem am Leben hält! Ich habe den Film gesehen, der hauptsächlich durch die Musik and die Animation besticht. Einige Musikstücke gehen mir nicht mehr aus dem Kopf und machen einfach gute Laune.

Excellent album !Dommage que les morceaux soient trop courts par moment.... Ca sent parfois le medley.Mais on comprend mieux l'approche musical quand on regarde le DVD du dessin animé.A consommer sans modération !
