Works great
We are happy that this unit is working so well. At first was a little nervous because of the inexpensive cost compared to others. But I figured well if it doesn’t work I’ll send back. Easy to set up, no complications using. We are RVers and we are located in a park now, that the cell tower is 5 miles away. Our phones went from 1-2 bars to 3-4 bars consistently. The only thing the concerns me is the unit gets quite warm, so we unplug at night and when we’re gone. Very happy

Does not change data rate
I've had this for a few days now and have repeatedly used speedtest to check my connection speed and have found that this does not change my internet speed at all.I usually get 600kbs down with only 1-2 bars and can get 3mbs down with all bars on my phone. Where I live I usually only have 1-2 bars inside and can get up to 4 bars outside where the cell booster is at. I need a cell booster as both of my children use the internet through my cell for online school which is why I purchased this.I have the cell booster properly installed and its lights show I have a strong signal. Inside the booster gives me 4 bars from 10 feet away with no obstructions. If I put the phone right next to it I will get 5 bars. Still 4 bars should easily give me 1-2mbs download. Instead it changes nothing. I can perform a speed test and then unplug the booster and do another speed test and the data does not change at all accept for a little bit with the upload speed.. like .3 of a mbps. So this is pretty much useless. Not sure if it actually helps with dropped calls or not as I would have to wait for a thunder storm for that. Will be returning this asap after I uninstall this thing. What a waist of time and money.

Give full Signal in house
I had no signal in house due to being copper lined, I now have 2-4 bars inside excellent.I would recommend this product and it was really easy to set up.

It Works
I installed this on an off grid cabin and run it off a battery+inverter. I installed on the roofline on top of a 6' pole and had just enough wire to put the transmitter inside the cabin. At first I had it in a small closet and saw no improvement at all. When I moved to outside the cabinet there was a noticeable improvement. So, it doesn't go through walls much at all.A couple other things I noticed:-bars don't mean anything. I got 1-2 bars before installing this item inside and still get 1-2 bars.-this item does provide a measurable increase in connection speed when testing with a speedtest app. With the transmitter I would get .5-4mbps usually. After I get 3-10mbps. Definitely an improvement.-I noticed if multiple people perform the speed test at the same time the speed drops noticeably, so there is clearly a bandwidth limit in play.

Seems to work well enough
I installed this in the sticks .. had 1 bar before and would lose connection all the time on my phone.. tethering to a fire stick , screen would sometimes freeze too and video would buffer .. installed this unit and i can now watch tv all day without interruptions.. i have 3 bars now .. i could probably get the external antenna adjusted a little better but that would take 2 person to do and i installed this by myself.overall very happy , it’s not a real quick connection (20mb down), but it’s useable and way better than before.

couldn't get it to work
Perhaps it's just my location and installation, but I couldn't get it to work. On the surface, and from the ad, it looks straightforward and plug and play-ish (ie indoor antenna to boost signal strength, like a wifi extender). But this requires an outside antenna and a location search of the nearest tower to direct the outdoor antenna towards; then a long cable from the outdoor antenna into the indoor booster, which will require a wall penetration. So after testing outside and relaying the cable indoors, I just couldn't get the boost in signal strength, which remained at 2 bars on my iPhone. In concept, this should work; but for my area, perhaps it's not the ideal spot. Inside there's a manual with website info on search for the tower. If this was made known earlier, I think there'd be less surprises and challenges in getting this to work and the right purchase can be made. For me it wasn't the case.

Boosts signal on metal enclosed trailer
Installed on my enclosed trailer that was converted to a camper. The all metal construction makes getting cell service very difficult. With this booster installed on an easily removable ram ball I now have cell service even in very remote areas!

No difference
After following the instructions, my signal was exactly the same as it was before, very poor.
