A good composter but tricky to put together
I spent some time looking for a good compost bin but found that most don’t have a bottom and/or the reviews complain that they have a flimsy lid so I thought I would take a chance and give this one a go.It’s pretty good actually. Its not very big (65l compared to others which are ~300l) but that just means I need to be more selective about what I put in it, which is perfectly fine by me.There’s no problem with the lid on this one, it slides open and closed quite nicely and I like that the whole thing can be moved easily enough because the drum is sealed when the lid is closed. The one problem I found was in actually building the thing. You have to connect the panels together to make a circle and then the two faces click into place at either side to make the drum.Sounds easy enough but I found it quite fiddly - if just one of the panels is slightly out of place when you attempt to connect the faces, it won’t join together properly and you’ll need to take it apart completely and start again which is frustrating.I’ll give it 4 dustbin lids out of 5, as it’s a good little composter, but it’s let down slightly by the fiddly design when building the drum.

Great device
Easy to assemble. Easy to use. Vermin can’t get in. Nearly filled it up so might have to buy another. Great for small home composting

Difficult to assemble
Although sturdy it took me a long time to put together. I found it very difficult to get the pieces together. After putting it together it is sturdy.

Self assembled
Product feels sturdy, and was relatively easy to assemble. Haven't had time to see how well it composts yet.

Not sturdy enough
Maybe it’s my fault as I did not find it easy at all to assemble. As soon as there was some weight inside, one of the panels collapsed! And it wasn’t even half full. I wish I had bought a more expensive one as I feel it would have been better value for money.

JUST WHAT I needed for my back yard garden. Fits perfectly where I wanted it to go.
I have had my back yard shelved out for pots to plant with herbs and flowers. This composter is excellent for my kitchen organic waste so I do not have to buy too much compost.
