Hi, could I use this to file down a dogs claw as he won’t let me clip his claws? Thank you

My dog has black claws and ridiculously long wicks, so clippers are out. I've tried the electric trimmers etc, but honestly the best option and least stressful for most of my dogs is a good quality GLASS (or very sharp) nail file. The trick is to do it a little bit a few days a week/month. If you do it regularly. The wick will shrink back and make it easier to manage too. Don't hold the toes when filing, hold the nail itself. This stops the vibrations going up the dogs feet so much and it's less stressful too. Hope this helps
