The material is smooth. But was rather disappointed as received 1 pillow case is torn & the other has black stain. The pillow cases are much bigger than normal pillow case size.

Got an unbelievably great price on the silky soft duvet and shams. The Beige is very close to the pictured color, love the sheen to it. Have never had bamboo bedding because its always so expensive and now I know why. Have had bamboo clothing though and was equally impressed by the texture and especially how well it washes and holds up, feeling pretty sure this will too. Do recommend turning the duvet inside out to wash and dry though, because like soft cottons, it can pill a lot, also I used dryer sheets and had to rewash with vinegar to get the oily stain out - so be careful with softeners and dryer sheets.

Love the softness and luxurious feel of these duvet covers. Great quality. Breathable and so comfortable to sleep under. Already ordered another set. We love these!!!! Only slight negative is that they wrinkle quite easily, but if you take them out of the dryer immediately and fold them it is minimal. Great product.
