Akzonobel ought to know who is dealing with their potentially harmful substances.
Hammerite brush cleaner does what it says on the tin. It is also highly toxic if inhaled or swallowed, corrosive and highly flammable. This 2.5 Ltr tin arrived in a flimsy box with a plastic bag for protection, no packaging or filler of any kind, no hazard warnings on the box. Yodel must have thrown it around quite a bit because the tin was badly dented. Had this ruptured in transit then the consequences could have been very serious. The Amazon trader is Mercat who merchant toilet paper to fly spray and are clearly not an Akzonobel stockist as the item took a long time to arrive, I expect they had to sub-order it. I really do expect better from Amazon, and from the manufacturer.

Great for thinning Hammerite paint
I used this too thin Hammerite direct to nonferrous metal paint so I could spray it (not recommended by Hammerite for health and safety reasons!) It worked very well and I found the best ratio, depending on your spray equipment, is approximately 30% thinners to 70% paint. As this was on an aluminium greenhouse that was previously stripped down I did hand the paint the special primer beforehand.

Essential for working with Hammerite
The only product for thinning Hammerite paint, and I've tried all the others it could think of first because this is quite expensive for thinners. The only problem I've had is that the spout on the 2.5l tin is pathetic. I think I'm actually spilling more of this than I'm getting in the spray gun. Not good for a flammable wildlife killing liquid. Because instructions for thinning Hammerite are a bit vague everywhere else, a quick guide: Spraying: Mix 2:1 by volume Hammerite paint to Hammerite thinners. The mix by weight is about 12:5 paint to thinners, but I've had success down to 6:5 when I wanted a really thin coat. Rolling: Instructions are even more vague I found, but roughly 17:3 paint to thinners, or 15% will thin it enough for rolling.

You don't need this
Very expensive and not superior to cheaper alternatives. Unbranded white spirit in a glass jar as your Dad/Grandad used to do, followed by a paper towel and warm soapy water. The old ways are still the best (and most cost-effective).
