Not as good as Taylor's.
I can't believe I've just used the same product as the other reviewers here. There is so much wrong with this 'cream'.That's the first thing, it isn't a cream, it's as hard as block soap. I usually just dip the tip of my brush's bristles into Taylor's and work a lather up on the angle of my jaw. One dip in Taylor's is enough for 3 passes: with, against and across, thickening my last pass by squeezing out a thick creamy lather from the bristles. When you squeeze the brush at the end with this, soapy water runs out. This 'cream' you can't dip into, I had to work a lather in the pot. Which is another problem: it's full to the brim, so the lather you work up just runs down the sides of the pot. Needs to be in a larger pot. And I had to re-lather from the pot every pass.I love the smell of both cedarwood and patchouli, which is why I bought this product. But this stuff smells very odd, like gloss paint, very chemically smelling. As it goes on thin, even after spending far longer acheiving a lather, I had to shave with extra care, which is the only positive: no nicks, as I was forced to slow down and use a very accurate technique. Good job it was the weekend and not a work day.But despite that fact, it stung more afterwards, as did applying aftershave; I feel it offers less protection during the shave than a true cream. If I''d bought this as my first safety razor shaving cream, I think I'd still be using an electric shaver!Cannot recommend, sorry, and I really wanted to like this cream. I would have been unhappy to pay a quarter of this products Β£11 cost.

Good but not sure about the cedarwood
Trying something new here. Fragrance with the cedarwood is a bit odd, but lather is good and provides a nice smooth shave. Still early days.

Very Impressive.
I came across this shaving soap by accident & it's one of the best "accidents" I've had, It works perfectly & smells beautiful. Now if only there was an after-shave to go with it. SueZBana, the ball's in your court...

I will never buy any other shave cream/gel
First time using proper shave cream and brush, literally the most enjoyable shave I've ever had, even with a bluntish razor. I have extremely thick hair, this stuff was great. Smelled fine...best thing, no weird unnecessary chemicals! I will be buying more!
