⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressive Cine Lens for Filmmakers
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressive Cine Lens for Filmmakers The SIRUI Night Walker 24mm S35 Manual Focus Cine Lens exceeded my expectations. The build quality feels professional and solid, with smooth focus and aperture rings that make precise adjustments easy during filming. The image quality is excellent, producing sharp footage with pleasing cinematic character and beautiful background separation. I was especially impressed with its low-light performance, which helps capture clean, detailed shots in challenging lighting conditions. As a manual focus cine lens, it does require some practice, but the control and consistency it provides are well worth it for serious videographers and content creators. The geared rings work smoothly with follow-focus systems, making it a great addition to a filmmaking setup. Low noise. I like it a lot!

The budget cinema lens you need in your bag!
Paired this lens with my Sony FX 30 and for the price, love the results. This is a manual lens, so keep that in mind when looking to purchase. I used this lens for weddings, interviews, candid shots etc., and was always impressed how everything came out. The build quality feels great (aluminum body), solid, and durable. The gears are precise so you can attach your favorite follow focus. When shooting wide open at T1.2 you get a softer image, but great in low light. For a sharper image you’ll want around T4. This lens has some focus breathing as well as flaring. Not as bad as the Anamorphic lenses, but still a good bit of flare. For a budget “cinema” lens, this lens is hard to beat. The T1.2 can capture some dreamy footage as well as bokeh. Great contrast and colors, light and compact so easy to carry. Overall, a cinematic lens at this price, is a no brainer!

Great beginner lens!
This is a very good lens. I am an amateur starting out, and I can say, this thing is awesome. The manual focus disciplines me into learning muscle memory. I use this on my Sony FS7. Packaged very nicely by the company. So don't worry if It rattles around in the Amazon box. Lol The image is nice and sharp. Bouquet is cinematic. Lens flares are decent.

Got sent a wrong lens
Sirui sent me an incorrect lens now I have to incur costs sending it back then wait another full month to get my refund whilst setting me back with the work I had planned with the lens. I really love Sirui lenses but this has been quite the harrowing experience.

Great lens ... but I received a used one with a missing rear lens cap.
I picked up the 24mm SIRUI Night Walker lens to use on a client project where I needed a 35mm field of view (after accounting for the Super 35 crop factor) that delivers a bright aperture with a shallow depth of field and some soft character around the edges of the frame. I own the 35mm SIRUI Night Walker (which is closer to a 50mm field of view after the crop) and I like the look from that lens ... so this 24mm version was a no-brainer. I couldn't be happier with the results and the client is very happy with the initial footage as well. The only reason that I'm giving this review four stars instead of five is that I received a used lens that was previously opened and was missing the rear lens cap. I don't know if it was SIRUI or Amazon who is responsible for that, but I doubt it was SIRUI. I didn't contact Amazon for a replacement because I needed to use the lens for a client job the very next morning and didn't have the time to wait for a replacement. Even though I'm annoyed that I received a used lens, the lens itself is fantastic and I highly recommend the Night Walker series of cine lenses from SIRUI.

SIRUI 24mm T1.2 Night Walker Cine
