OraVet Dental Hygiene Chews for X-Small Dogs, 30 Count

Very happy with the product and so is my dog (he loves the taste). The product definitely helps keep my dog's teeth and tongue clean. No more terrible breath either. Only side effect is green stools next morning.

Best on the market. We were going to get our dogs teeth cleaned at the very high expense that is charged and heard that this is a great product to remove the plaque that causes the bad breath. Well, this product has promoted healthier gums, removed all of the plaque and completely freshened our dogs breath. We use one chew every other day and this has worked well. We will be ordering more to have on hand. I would think that once the plaque is gone, you could use twice a week and that would be sufficient.

My vet gave me a free 30 day sample of this product for my Chinese Crested's oral hygiene. She had her dental cleaning less then a year ago and preferred we try this product. My dog gets 3 small meals a day. I found this product made her gain a bit of weight so eliminated lunch and give her Oravet for that meal. It is great and she loves it. It does a fantastic job being that she is on the small end of this breed and narrow mouth. They tend loss of teeth early but she hasn't. Her breath has a fresh scent to it. I do watch her as she eats it because those are directions on the package.I have had small breeds for many years and found that they had dental issues loosing teeth at a young age.

These are great chews, but they are expensive for what they are. No, you cannot put a price on good oral/dental health for your pet, that is true. But these are still VERY expensive for what they are. At approximately $1.33 per chew, they are not cheap. I am sure the plastic wrapping of each individual chew (like a box of candy bars) has something to do with that cost, as well as the unusual packaging (hexagonal box) the chews come in. The individual wrapping probably has a lot to do with the softness and freshness of the product, which certainly makes sense. That said, I would like to see these in a resealable bulk bag of some kind at hopefully a better price. For now, I will supplement the Greenies and VeggiDent treats I give my two shi-chi's now with these. These will be a special, once-a-week (maybe twice) kind of treat, most likely.

These were great my dogs. Ate all of the chews that lasted the whole month.

Our shih tzu has had these 4-5 times a week for about 3 years, he is 4 years old. There is almost no plaque in his teeth which saves a dental visit and he can keep his teeth much longer. I compare his teeth to the neighbor shih tzu that is a year older and his teeth already look bad.

My miniture poodle had these for 3 days and stating throwing up , when I read the side effects to these vomiting and diarrhea was some of them , please be careful with your fur babies when ordering this product !

This product is very helpful when trying to keep up with your dogs breath. My dog is two years old and is only four pounds; even though, I brush his teeth up to five times a week, I usually cannot stay ahead of the smell. He gets one as often as my vet recommended. I absolutely love this product and so does my dog. It is an actual treat he becomes excited for and is willing to chew on it. I have tried other dental stick brands and over time my dog begins not to eat them and I do not feel that any other product works as well as OraVet.
