Had these 2 albums since they came out. Remember LP's? Came to me I'd love listening to Boz in the car. A seller on Amazon Actually had this cassette! (CD player broke a decade ago - too old for parts) Boz Scaggs - a crooner w/a voice of milk & honey. Like Silk caressing you from ears to toes. Never heard of him? (he's not heavy metal thank god) Listen only if you think you might like a voice of milk & honey... being caressed w/Silk.

This is NOT the superior Gold CD that is an import. False advertising from Amazon. Shame on them!

This edition is a 2007 remaster by the Sony Legacy group. Normally, they produce better-than-original editions. Something amiss with this title. They seem to have left the original "Sony Walkman" mastering intact: tremendous bass and treble boost to account for AM radio range of 100-7000hz. The drum and guitar tracts are so loud as to make the vocals almost inaudible. Have not heard the 2013 remaster, but hopefully a step up from this one. Avoid if playing on better audio equipment.
