Your betta will decide if they like this product
I have 3 betta males, all in separate tanks because the males are too competitive with each other and will be very aggressive towards each other. This toy is fashioned in the likeness of a betta male. Therefore, it is seen as a competitor by real betta males. One of my fish avoided the toy with no desire to compete. The 2nd fish flaired and postured but didn't get too worked up.My 3rd fish flaired up as a warning to the toy, but then went about his normal routine.I think if this toy were fashioned in the likeness of a species that can cohabitate with Bettas, the Bettas would interact more with the toy. My fish would rather avoid it and interact with me. Bettas are smart and personable fish that each have very unique personalities. That's why I have 3. Some betta may enjoy this toy to break boredom but some may avoid it as it can be viewed by them as a competitor. The other opinion I have about this toy is how short the stick is. I think a slightly longer stick would make it more user friendly. If the toy swiveled, instead of being stationary, it would be more user friendly. If the toy were 3 dimensional instead of flat, it would be more user friendly. The concept of this toy has potential to be something fun for your fish, but I think it needs a few changes to be great. I give it 4 stars as I feel it's ok, but not great. My fish made the final decision and they didn't love it either

Simple yet effective
They are smaller than my betta but they work at stimulating him. He flared up and swam around while i put them one at a time up to the glass to see if he would interact. He dodnt seem to care much about the reddish one, our cane in like a whitish pink color, but he really interacted with the blue one. It was cute to see. They are made pretty cheaply so be careful as they could break easily if misused or dropped. Well worth the purchase

Disappointed.
The simulation fish is flat on the end and can only really be moved around outside of the glass, which makes sense, but it's a bit awkward and doesn't interest our Betta much. They're cute and colorful but also much smaller and more fragile than I like, I worry it will snap if I'm not careful enough and this is unfortunate because I'm very clumsy.Overall: I was hoping for a fun way to interact with my fish but so far this has just been disappointing. Not sure I'd recommend it to anyone but I'm sure they'll work for some.
