I own 5 Citizen eco-drive watches. In the winter time it's downright impossible to keep them charged unless I lay them out under a table lamp for a day or two. So I decided to bite the bullet and get a charger. I initially got a different charger but ended up returning that one because it was cheap plastic, had trouble staying upright and got to hot. This one doesn't get noticeably hot. Especially on the lower setting which really is all you need. It's nice and solid. Sits very sturdy even with a heavy watch on it. It's exactly what I needed.

I have 2 Casio solar G shock watches.. The the brand new BDX 5600 also I have a G Steel, both of them have the tough solar charging. Both of them arrived very low on charge. One was actually dead. I could not get them in sunlight use to get much of a charge because I wasn’t outside in the sun all day even even if I was, it would’ve took multiple days. This charger does the trick it’s very durable. It’s lightweight. It does not get your watch hot at all not even warm. I used both settings high and low, and got both my watches charged up in eight hours of time each. This is definitely the way to go. once they are charged fully, I should not have to worry about it for a while, but I’ll keep an eye on them and if I ever have a problem this trust you Little purchase here is awesome. It’s easy to use. Looks cool and made out of good material.

Works great......easy to use with the different size molding and charged my watches quickly and easily. The light has two intensity levels to choose from.

At first, I plugged the charger in with a fast charger, and it would not work. Then I plugged it into a regular charger, and it worked very well. My watch is a Casio Men's G-Shock MTGM900DA-8CR Tough Solar Atomic Stainless Steel Sport Watch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0094BKASS?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2 It was left in my work bag for over a month when I was on leave-of-absence from work, and my watch completely discharged. Being in the PNW, there is not much direct sun this time of year, and I got a marginal charge from putting my watch on my car dash for a day. I thought for sure I was going to have to get another watch, but I was willing to try because I love my watch very much. Then I saw a review for this charger. This charger runs on either high or low for eight hours, and after having my watch on the charger on hight for four hours, my watch still needed more time, so I went to bed and let it run the full eight hours on high. (Yes, the charger gets warm, but not melting hot, just warm). When I got up in the morning, I was pleasantly surprised to see that my beloved watch was fully charged! I would highly recommend this purchase.

This is definitely a great purchase for all my solar watches since I live in the Northern part of MI and for half the year we don’t receive much sun so I purchased this excellent charger for my watches and it works perfectly and I have no clue why some incompetent person recently left a review that it doesn’t work on solar watches that’s not true or maybe there solar watch wasn’t compatible and they should have stated that it didn’t work for there type of watch instead of saying it doesn’t work for solar watches since it definitely does work for solar watches just read all the other positive reviews but I have Citizen’s and also Casio’s watch’s that are solar and it works on all my watch’s I like it has two different power one higher and one lower and I like to use the lower power to charge I definitely would purchase this again and I definitely don’t have to worry about my watch’s running low thanks to this charger I definitely don’t have to watch the weather for a sunny day again and thanks to Amazon and this charger it definitely makes my life easier!

Works great. It charged my Casio 5610-U battery from medium to high in less than an hour at "40,000+ Lux". Be advised, this charger emits around 117 degrees Fahrenheit at "40,000+ Lux". At "20,000+ Lux", it emits heat at around 102 degrees Fahrenheit. It's a good thing this charger has an 8 hour shut off time. I will charge my watch at the lowest setting to expose it to less heat.

Multiple nice features. Shorter than other brands, so less likely than other brands to get hit by accident. The soft covers work well. Fit nicely, and are soft on the watch crystal. Even my wife’s solar Citizen fits very well. I particularly like the choice of brightness levels, as I don’t want my watches getting hot, so I always run at the lower brightness level. Come with an about 2 foot long USB-A to USB-C cable to hook the light to your charger, outlet, whatever. In an emergency, if you have a battery pack, you can even use it as a light source! UPDATE: August 2025: Still working perfectly. Today, after charging one of my watches on high power 6+ hours, I got out my infrared thermometer. Metal items in the room were reading 72F, while the watch read 88F. So while they get a little warm, that is it, below body temperature! If you think the watch gets too hot on high, just run it on low, and if you think it is necessary, give it two 8-hour charging sessions. My wife and I have three Citizen Eco-Drive watches between us. We charge each watch 3 times a year (it’s on our calendars), for 8 hours on low, and have never had an issue. My Satellite Wave Citizen reports charge level, and it is 100% charged after 8 hours on low. All-in-all, essentially perfect!

I used to struggle to keep my four solar-powered watches charged. Where I live, clear sunny days are the exception; it's usually cloudy and overcast, which just adds to the difficulty. I bought this solar charger on impulse, and I couldn't be more pleased. It works very well and charges my watches quickly. The rubber cushions allow the watch to charge with little or no light leakage. One of my watches has an uneven bezel (just the way it's designed), so light leaks through the holes, but not badly. Also, that watch has a very large face - larger than the "large" cushion's opening - and the solar panel is a ring around the perimeter of the face, so I used a knife to widen the opening a bit. The other watches have no light leakage at all. I expected something this small and this blindingly bright to get hot during use. While it does get a little warm, especially since a watch "blanket" is on top of it, it does not get very hot. I've had other devices that I thought were trying to start a fire, but that is not the case with this solar charger. I STRONGLY recommend this charger for anyone who owns a solar-powered watch. It completely removes the hassle of "parking" watches on the window sill, in the vain hope of catching enough light.

Los 40,000 lux que provee, son suficientes para lograr una carga rápida en un reloj. No se calienta y el reloj apenas queda tibio. Recomiendo el de color negro, ya que no causa iluminación en la habitación durante su uso. Luego de 8 hs se apagó y pude cargar 4 relojes por 2 hs cada uno.

息子のソーラー腕時計が止まったので修理に出そうとしたらオーバーホールになるので数万円かかると言われ試しに購入して使ったら無事に動きました。時計によって同じように生活して使っていても充電が足りなくなるようでたまにこれで充電してあげるのは良いかと思います。ピンポイントにLEDの光で充電出来るので良いです。

Well priced, does the solar / EcoDrive charging job very well - and I have10+ solar watches. Faster than direct sunlight.Even managed to revive a failing unit.

Outlet plug with USB port is not included with this item, but the USB power cable cable is included. Solar watch charger light box works well; it has 2 light intensity settings. Good value for the money paid for this item.
