Had a few slow cookers, last one did not have a delay timer. Getting up early to switch on when slow cooking meat for Sunday roast was a pain. Surprisingly delay timer feature that this slow cooker has is rare. Used a few times now without fail, setting is very intuitive, easy to set. Cooks great, nice bowl, would have preferred a rubber seal to the lid as our old one had but otherwise can’t fault this one.

Great slow cooker easy to use clear digital display.

Our Prestige slow cooker (5.5l) would no longer heat up so we bought this Cooks Professional one to replace it. It is larger at 6.5 litres, and has a delay function which could come in very handy at some point. It has a nice clear digital display and is easy to setup although the instructions aren’t brilliant. So far we have used it to make a beef stew and it turned out to be a lovely meal. I am disappointed that we don’t get the 2 year warranty even though the booklet indicates that if bought direct from Cooks Professional you would automatically get the extension. However despite this being bought through their store (albeit through Amazon) and shipped directly by them, we did not get it and it was 18 days after we bought it that I realised this. So beware and ensure you do register it within the 14 days as clearly they are very strict about this!

Just the right size for three and easy to use.

I have a large slow cooker which serves 6-8 but I needed a smaller one as mainly there is only 2 of us... This slow cooker is really neat looking, perfect for 2-4 ppl easy to clean as the ceramic pot fits easily in the dishwasher & the exterior is a nice matte black which wipes down easily & does not look streaky so looks really smart left out in the kitchen on display. Really happy with this, it has 2 cooking levels high & low & also has a delay function so you can make up your food & start the cooking process later & a keep warm facility so if you are not ready when it is, you can just make it wait, what more could you want !!

It looks great, not used yet. I like the idea of the delay button so you get every thing ready go and hopefully will start cooking when wanted.

Unfortunately. Didn’t work on first use. Tried several times. It’s such a frustrating cooker. Waited several hours. Followed the instructions, However, just flashes. Pressed the buttons. Intermittently switches off - never heats up. And now out of warranty. Shame as I managed to get two large whole chickens in the pot. Had to transfer the entire lot to the stove. Very disappointed. It seems a large proportion have complained about this product.

The slow cooker is good and it works fine, but it emits a strange smell... Maybe because I only used it a few times so far... Also, it gets very hot on the outside - to the point that it melted a bread packet and toasted the bread inside it a bit...
