The knife is affordable EDC knife, good neck knife. can use on belt/pants. (get the leather sweat guard from the non clone company directly for 10.00. The knife came sharp and usable without further sharpening. The retention on the one I received is a little light, not as tight as it could be. but that can be fixed with boiling hot water and press on the sheath part that holds knife in place. You have to take off pocket clip first. All in all its a good clone and for the money its a decent all around EDC knife.

I have not owned or handled the authentic Benchmade SOCP dagger so I don’t have a complete reference comparison to make. However, the quality of this clone is exceptionally good especially considering the $20 price tag I paid for it from Amazon prime with free shipping. Is the Benchmade SOCP worth an additional $100? If I could afford it, the extra hundred dollars would have been worth it to support an American made product and an American design that is being knocked off unfortunately and I’m guilty of supporting that. But I am not a special forces operator or LEO, just a middle-age guy with a dad bod who wants one extra layer of self defense protection in addition to my EDC pistol. I’ve seen a few complaints of retention in the sheath, mine has no problem at all. The retention is tight and gives a positive click and felt resistance when the blade is inserted or withdrawn from the sheath. Perhaps there are some quality control variations and if you receive one with poor retention, I think you can fix it by putting a heat gun or hair blower at the middle point of the sheath and pressing in so that it tightens against the blade. See my video on that. Overall, it is an incredibly well thought out design and this clone seems to match the quality of the original other than a different finish. When clipped inside the waistband in an angle, it is fairly comfortable to sit with it in place. However, the loop Tang of the knife does cut into my gut a little because I have a little extra around the waist. Bench made makes a square leather pad that should fit and cost $10 on their website which I will probably get. For the price you can’t go wrong..

It works very well. The plastic part that holds the knife is excellent quality. The blade material itself is not excellent quality. It feels a little bit like tin. It will sharpen easily but I suspect it will not be very durable. That size and shape work well. It will do for a stab and jab sort of thing. But it is not a good blade for much work. But it will do the job you might imagine it doing.

The knife is just fine. The retention of the knife in the sheath is good. The problem is that the clip is the wrong type. It needs to be stronger and/or have a hook so that the sheath does not come out with the knife when you are drawing.

I was a little apprehensive about the price at first, but I also figured that at this price point, it was worth giving it a try. I've been carrying this as part of my EDC for the last month, and I've been pleasantly surprised. One of my biggest concerns was how well it would retain in the sheath. It actually turned out to be tighter than I expected—honestly, a little tighter than I would have preferred. After a couple hundred draws, it's still holding the knife securely. It's rubbed a bit of the finish off the blade, but I'd much rather have a sheath that's too tight than one that's too loose. The overall construction feels solid and well put together. I'm not sure how the sheath will hold up over years of daily carry on my belt, but so far it's been performing well. It arrived reasonably sharp, and with just a little touch-up, I was able to get it shaving sharp. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong, especially if you're looking for an affordable EDC knife that isn't going to see constant hard use. I'd definitely recommend it if you're on the fence.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised with this SOCP replica. The blade and handle both feel solid and well made, especially for the price. My knife fit very tight in the sheath with no rattling at all, so I’m not worried about it falling out during movement or use. The sheath also mounts onto a MOLLE vest really nicely and stays snug, which is a huge plus if you’re using it for gear setup or training. The handle is very comfortable in hand and gives a secure grip. The only downside for me is the factory sharpness. Mine wouldn’t cut paper cleanly out of the box, but honestly this style of knife is more designed for poking/self-defense than slicing tasks anyway. I also wish the tip was just a little thicker for extra durability. Overall, it’s a solid replica with good fit and finish, secure retention, and comfortable handling. Great value for what it is.

I've received the item on time as promised. Product looks good, feels good. Quality seems ok (7.5 out of 10) nice and light. Holster is perfect. Price,,, could be better. Overall will do great with my collection. Keep in mind if you live in Canada this is absolutely illegal to wear in public.
