A Great Gift Idea!
I bought this for the relative who has everything and he was so excited about this little stove once he understood what it is.Arrived on time and from what I can tell, it will be used quite a bit! As an added bonus, I also purchased the wood pellets so he can try it immediately. I won this Christmas is the gift giving department, lolol

Better than I expected!
The media could not be loaded. I love the smell of good wood (California Oak) burning in a fireplace or campfire. To me it wasn’t about getting warm. But this thing can put out some serious heat. It doesn’t take much to get this thing up to temperature so be careful. It kinda reminds me of the rocket stoves I used to make. The design really siphons air and it makes nice patterns too. I’m definitely buying another one.

Works very well, much like my larger Solo, but one caveat...
I have fired this up a few times now, trying small pieces of wood and wood pellets. Wood pellets work best and last the longest, probably about 30-45 minutes with the fire pit about 1/2 to 2/3 full. Once the heat builds up and the gasification kicks in, it works very well, with a strong fire around the upper holes and a nice 2-3' flame. There is one issue with wood pellets, once you pile it on, it is a bit difficult to get the pit to fire up, as the holes seem to be blocked by all the pellets. If you can keep the center a bit less piled up and keep the pellets on the sides, it works better. There needs to be a center stainless air shaft that allows air to get into the center of the pellets. You can get fire starter gel, or use 75% cheap hand sanitizer gel to spread around and light it though, and eventually it will take off.The ash pan that you pull up through the center that is to collect the ashes seems to get hung on the sides, it is so closely the same diameter. This means ashes and unspent fuel, etc will fall off the sides into the bottom and then you have to do this tilt up, then down and shake dance to get it fully emptied out. Not a big thing, but just something to consider. This was good enough a product I bought a second. It will make for a great travel pit to a park or a family outing where 2-3 people could do smores. It packs up well and has a tote to store it. So if you can get a fire started and don't mind the little bit extra work to shake out the debris, this may work for you.

Works as should.
The media could not be loaded. Tried it with wood pellets and am happy with it. Very small which is what I wanted for the table top to use on nights where we don’t really need the warmth but enjoy a fire.

Wow…
At almost a 1/4 of the cost of its competitor, I wasn’t expecting much. However, I was wanting a small table top unit for a few small gatherings I was planning for the fall. I have an extremely large ‘dome’ fire pit for the main entertaining, but wanted a small table top unit for ambience (and maybe s’mores, :-). So - even if it only worked for a night or two, I was comfortable with the cost.I was completely in shock when it was delivered… and in a good way. The build quality feels solid and the finishes are quite nice… Honestly, it looks like I paid a whole lot more for this than I actually did. Though, the real magic was when I lit it for the first time.I love that it comes with the pellet converter if that is what you would prefer to use… and that is what we started with (and stayed with)… It works PERFECTLY as a table-top fire pit… and the s’mores table was a complete success with everyone asking about the little burn pit. It puts out just enough of a flame and keeps it smokeless to allow for a comfortable gathering around it. Now, if you are wanting something that puts out a lot of light and heat, this probably isn’t the one for you. But if you just want to add a small ‘moment,’ you really need to give this one a shot.

Size matters
LOADING AND FIRING:The unit seems sturdy enough and is well built. The folding legs work well – they are stiff, but you want them determined to stay deployed. For my initial burn, I used wood pellets loaded up even with the metal pellet adapter (you’d probably want to add more). I added two small pieces of fire starter made from wax and sawdust with a couple of dollops of fire starter gel. Even so, it took about 20 minutes to get a good flame. Put something non-flammable underneath to protect your wood table from heat and any stray hot coals that may fall out the side (unlikely with this unit, more likely with others I’ve seen). I used an 8” square ceramic tile, but bigger pits should have a 12” tile.WHAT YOU GET:As far as it goes, this is a nice little fire pit, but emphasis on LITTLE. From a table-top fire pit you want 2 main things: heat and a light show. With this unit you get a small version of both. It’s about 2/3 the price of larger units and about 2/3 the size, which means that there will be less heat emanating from it and less of a flame out the top. Even the bigger units supply meaningful heat only to people who are about 2, maybe 3 feet away. The flame light show is visible from a distance, but even the bigger units are susceptible to wind. Even the slightest breeze will blow that flame sideways and diminish it. You need to be in a very sheltered spot to get all of a fire pit’s potential. Two of my photos show this unit next to a larger one that uses a similar design. Notice the flame size. Even if I had raised the COOZOOM pit so its top was even with the larger pit, you can tell that the flame was much lower on the COOZOOM. If price is a concern, then get this unit, but a larger one will serve you better.CLEANUP:The ash tray is a welcome feature, but when you lift it out, some of the ashes will fall off its edges into the pit. I don’t recommend turning the unit upside down to dump the ashes, you might get them stuck in between the inner and outer layers. Instead, shake the thing on its side to get them out via the vent holes. Many of the table top fire pits are promoted as a way to roast marshmallows for smores or a way to roast hot dogs. Just be prepared for a cleanup job. Burned on marshmallows and fat make for difficult cleaning.GRIPE: My last gripe is for all table top fire pits. For an additional $1 they could include a metal cross piece pot support that would turn this into a nice little camp stove. I made mine (see photo).

Works great
Easy to light and start a fire, throws off a lot of heat for a very small fire
