Green Manure - Buckwheat- 2kg Seeds

I got these seeds to help to improve the poor soil at my new allotment. They're growing away and, I expect, will be ready to hoe in soon.Unfortunately, the leaves look like the dreaded bindweed but, luckily, the stems are red so it's reasonably easy to pull the right one up.

Grows quick. You must cover the seed or the birds will eat it. I just scratch a line, cover and tread in. Bees like it and self seeds easily - if you don't want this cut it down before any seeds set

Took 5 days to sprout 3 inches tall. Very pleased.
