Good quality genuine victorinox oil.
Genuine victorinox oil, easy to apply due to bottle tip, it let's you get into places on swiss army knife and just put enough on without flooding it, low neutral odour and if you clean your knife properly and dry it before applying the oil it works a treat.

As promised but extremely expensive
It does exactly what it promises and works well. However it is extremely expensive compared to general machine oil, which is what is in the bottle. Food safe, but so are many cheaper brands. But if you only anticipate oiling one or two hinges you get a reasonably good bottle and enough to last you a few years at least.

Does what it's supposed to
Got some of this for my old swiss army knife that I had lost a couple of years ago and just found. It was all a bit gummed up as it used to get a lot of use. I simply opened up all the blades on it and removed the toothpick and the tweezers and washed it in some warm slightly soapy water for a few minutes and then left it in some clean warm water for 10 mins. I then left it out to dry for a day or so while I waited for this item to arrive.Adding the very smallest amout to the hinges at both ends and then working each item for a minute or so has completely transformed this to it's former glory, it's even possible to open many of these one handed without breaking any nails. It still has its definite stops but now glides nicely open and closed. Well worth the money to get the right oil for this kind of use.
